Hands up who is currently consumed by watching Wimbledon? I’m so guilty,I’m currently watching Del Potro winning, and I can generally say that I’ll be here in front of the TV for next week or so, with a side of strawberries and cream, a jug of Pimm’s, while cheering on my favourite Serena Williams, if the rain every lets her play. With that in mind, I thought I would dedicate this week’s Friday Favourites to inspiring Wimbledon Whites, so you can bring tennis off the court for a chic summery look. I have everything from a simple shift dress to a
If like me you love this time of year with all the strawberries and cream, the pleated skirts, the outrageous tennis attire, I am talking about you Serena Williams, the smart Ralph Lauren outfits that the umpire and line judges wear, and even a spot of Rafa Nadal ogling – then I am sure you’re already glued to the TV watching the tennis at Wimbledon. Well, as well as watching the TV, doing my work and my blog, I was also browsing the Kate Spade New York sale, as you do, and I came across what I can only describe as the most
I love it when two of my passions collide, I am a huge tennis fan and add fashion into the mix and I am one happy blogger. I love that even with a strict all-white dress code at Wimbledon, Venus Williams still manages to bring out her style. After causing a bit of a stir at the French Open, the American announced in her press conference that this outfit has been inspired by pop star Tina Turner. I love this shimmery number, more like a glitzy cocktail number than a tennis frock – but hey she crushed her opponent 6-3, 6-2, so maybe the lace-front dress is the way to go. What do you think? Fancy wearing this dress for your next tennis match?
