Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Diane Kruger In Giambattista Valli

diane-kruger-VF2013Who: Diane Kruger

Where: At the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars party, held at the Sunset Tower in Hollywood

Wearing: A black and white embroidered Giambattista Valli cape dress from the spring/summer 2013 haute couture collection, teamed with Christian Louboutin heels, a Roger Vivier Boite de Nuit gold and black metal clutch, and Fabergé jewellery

Verdict: I have missed Diane Kruger this award season as she always brings something new and different to the red carpet, and this is another incredible fashion-forward choice from one of her favourite couture designers, Giambattista Valli.

I don’t think many people could pull off this long-sleeved caped design but Diane seems to do it with ease, which is probably why I love it so much.

As well as loving the print, bold like Nina Dobrev’s, I love that it isn’t floor length like nearly everyone else, it makes her and this couture design stand out.

I think this another great look from Diane – do you agree?

Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Jennifer Lawrence In Calvin Klein Collection

jennifer-lawrence-VF2013Who: Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence

Where: At the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars party, held at the Sunset Tower in Hollywood

Wearing: A custom Calvin Klein Collection gunmetal beaded gown, Brian Atwood heels and Shay jewellery including earrings, bracelets and a cocktail ring

Verdict: The Silver Linings Playbook star changed out of her Dior Couture gown into this slinky silver Calvin Klein and it looked sensational on her and was a great look to show off her golden statuette.

The first time the world took notice of Jennifer Lawrence on the red carpet was at the Oscars in a Calvin Klein a few years back so it was fitting for her to turn to the designer for her after-show look and I am so glad that she did as I love the liquid metallic look of the gown.

As well as loving the sexy vibe of the dress with the plunging neckline and metallic shine, I love how it is such a contrast from the girlie Dior that she wore to the main event.

I am so pleased that Jennifer won last night – I really am pleased that Hollywood has fallen in love with her quirky humour and clumsy nature – she was so in shock when she won that it was adorable.

Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Olivia Munn Dazzles In Atelier Versace

olivia-munn-VF2013Who: Actress Olivia Munn

Where: At the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars party, held at the Sunset Tower in Hollywood

Wearing: A fully beaded pale pink Atelier Versace gown with intricate straps at the neckline and draping at the sides and back and a thigh-high split from the autumn/winter 2012 collection, teamed with silver Versace heels, and Kimberly McDonald jewellery

Verdict: What a gown, what intricate embroidery, and what a way to wear a thigh-high split without doing an Angelina Jolie!!!

Olivia Munn has an incredible beauty about her, but normally you see her looking elegant, sophisticated and glamorous, and this sexy floor-length gown was a little bit of a departure for her and it was good to see.

This gown is Versace at its very best – so beautiful!!

Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Kate Beckinsale Wearing Monique Lhuillier

kate-beckinsale-VF2013Who: Kate Beckinsale

Where: At the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars party, held at the Sunset Tower in Hollywood

Wearing: A strapless tulle Monique Lhuillier dress with gold embroidery from the autumn/winter 2013 collection, teamed with Jimmy Choo shoes, a Roger Vivier Paint Box clutch and Chopard jewellery

Verdict: I love this autumn/winter 2013 collection from Monique Lhuillier and this gold-embroidered beauty was perfect for the Vanity Fair party and looked incredible on Kate Beckinsale.

I missed Kate at the main event she always does seem to bring the glamour and I love this princess tulle dress as it is whimsical, stylish and fun, which sometimes isn’t always the case with big Hollywood events.

It is dresses like this that makes the Vanity Fair party red carpet better than the Oscars main event.
