Hands up if you are a little excited about autumn? I love this changing of the leaves season, all the shades of red and orange, the cosy knits, the sipping of hot chocolate by the fire, collecting conkers and acorns, as well as that dreamy moment of switching out the summer candles for pumpkin spice and the like!!! Autumn coming around also means new fashion trends and one that’s caught my eye has to be all those mustard vibes everywhere – from gorgeous coats to cool biker jackets, leather bags and the most beautiful pair of shoes that I need.
Spring/summer 2016 it seems is the season of the shoulders, as designers look to subtle sexy and effortlessly chic. The catwalks were filled with shoulder moments from off-the-shoulder tops to asymmetrical necklines, however, my favourite, a nod to the 90s has to be shoulder cutouts or as the kids are now calling it, the cold shoulder. When I say reinvention, I don’t mean the style, the blouses are still rocking beautiful neck-ties, but the way in which they are being styled makes them fresh and modern. The boho vibe has seen
I don’t think you can go into a high street store without seeing monochrome looks – it is everywhere for spring/summer and it is a trend that is going to continue into autumn, which is why when I saw this Jaeger dress in the sale I had to snap it up. This beauty, I can see now is going to be my throw-on dress, it is causal and comfortable with its oversized silhouette, yet it can be smartened up with a belt to nip in the waist, and can easily make the seasonal change from summer to autumn with the
