Flying Malaysia Airlines Business Class

Flying Malaysia Airlines Business Class

I love flying. I love the whole experience, from packing to the choosing of seats at check-in, the shopping, the getting lost finding the right gate, as well as the flight itself, which for my recent trip to Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airlines was pretty spectacular, as it was my first time flying business class.

Full disclaimer, my flight was courtesy of Malaysia Airlines, but I didn’t want you guys to think I was paid or told what to write that so isn’t me, you alway get honest reviews and opinions, and to put your mind at ease I can assure you I wasn’t given any special treatment, I didn’t even get a window seat!!! I had to make friends with my neighbour to uphold those blogger clichés to get my cloud and wing shot! I just want to assure you that I enjoyed my flight, especially the yummy food, and that’s why I wanted to share my business class experience.

My Kuala Lumpur Adventure

My Kuala Lumpur Adventure

It feels weird that this time last week I had just arrived in Kuala Lumpur with Malaysia Airlines, the flight was uneventful, I actually slept for most of it, and I was ready to explore this amazing city. Kuala Lumpur, or KL as its better known to the locals, is a great introduction to Asia especially as everyone speaks English, and I really loved the contrast of the steel-clad skyscrapers with historic monuments and architecture, and the crazy traffic with the beautiful parks. This Malaysian city really has a lot to over, including the most mega-sized shopping malls I have ever seen, these guys really know how to shop!!!

I was only in the city for four days, as part of the Malaysia blogger influencer exchange programme with Malaysia Airlines, and I wasn’t going to let a 13 hour flight, or the heat, which actually takes some getting used to, get in my way of exploring. I’m not really a sit around the hotel kind of person, granted the Grand Hyatt where I stayed was very appealing, but there is so much to see in KL that I got straight to it.

I will be sharing more detailed posts on my flight, my top sights to see, a look at the fabulous hotel I stayed in, as well as my experience at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, which was the main reason I was in the city. But I thought I would share a snapshot of my mini adventure, my highlights as you will to give you an idea of how beautiful KL is.

7 Things To Do In Antigua

7 Things To Do In Antigua

Antigua literally stole my heart when I was there in November for my honeymoon, and because of my newlywed bliss – it will always have a special place in my heart, but I think it was more to do with how absolutely perfect the Caribbean island is, the weather, the people and the range of activities that you can do, other than of course lounging on the beach or by the pool.

A lot of people have asked me what there is to do in Antigua so I thought I would share my 7 must do activities – from feeding a stingray to discovering hideaway beaches and even zipping through the rainforest – there is a lot to see on this tiny island.

24 Hours In Paris With Renaissance Hotels

24 Hours In Paris With Renaissance Hotels

24 hours doesn’t sound long in Paris, but as it is one of my favourite cities, I’ll always make it work, and as I was in town to celebrate Renaissance Hotels #DayofDiscovery I knew it was going to be a fun day.

I warn you this is a bit of a lengthy one, it was a jam-packed day, but trust me it will be a fun post – we went on a 2CV tour of Paris, we saw some iconic sights as well as secret spots of Paris, enjoyed some scrummy food, danced in the street, went to the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibition, and discovered a new amazing singing trio, The Groovy Project, it was seriously one amazing day in Paris.
