The white feel of the Stuart Weitzman SS11 campaign continues in the new autumn/winter adverts, with a concept of modern minimalistic glamour. The gorgeous campaign has an edgier feel with its white angular sculptures, which are ‘abstractions of icebergs’, and the models look cool posing against the pixellated background.
I adore the mix of textures in this campaign from the minimal backgrounds to what the model is wearing and her positioning, to the elements that make up the footwear. The top image says it all for me with the edgy iceberg, sleeked back hair and then the gorgeous extreme platform ankle boots with its mixture of black ostrich and calf skin. Which contrasts nicely with the second image of black soft Nappa over-the-knee boots with statement block heel *love these*, and the ankle version below, which kind of remembers me of the 90s; and then there are the striking Boaswoon, snakeskin extreme platform pumps with its pop of burgundy colour (bottom image).
What a gorgeous collection!!
