Wear: At the New York premiere for her new film We Bought A Zoo

Wearing: A black textured cropped bustier top teamed with a matching knee-length high-waist skirt from Dolce & Gabbana’s spring/summer 2012 collection, paired with Jimmy Choo heels and a black belt

Verdict: First up, how amazing does Scarlett look, secondly showing off her midriff in December in New York for the sake of style deserves a best dressed award. I also love her 40′s hairdo, everything about this outfit has a sultry feel to it, I love the midriff flash, the flared skirt and most of all I adore the textured fabric of the outfit. Scarlett looks stunning.

Here is a trailer to Scarlett’s new movie and it comes out just in time for Christmas, and I have to admit I kind of want to see it!!

Wearing: At the 83rd annual Academy Awards in Hollywood, California

Wearing: A one-of-a-kind Dolce & Gabbana lace gown with an open back in a red wine colour

Verdict: Lets start with what I like, well the back did look amazing *sorry couldn’t find a pic*, I like the love-heart shape to the bust, and I like the flower lace detailing.

But something about this look doesn’t do it for me, there is no wow factor to the overall look, her hair is messy, her make-up is heavy and jewellery a little underwhelming.

Maybe I was just expecting a little too much.

Where: At the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California

Wearing: A pale pink Elie Saab gown with floral appliqué detailing from the spring/summer 2011 collection

Verdict: What surprised me was that there wasn’t any more Elie Saab gowns on the red carpet, they are normally my go-to-designer for awards as the label always has such elegant pieces *does this mean the Oscars will be full of them?*.

I like this gown, I like the colour, I like the embroidered detailing, I even love the floaty sleeves, I think I just don’t love it on her. I think a lot has to do with her hair distracting me – I just not sure.

How doll like does Scarlett Johansson look in this new Dolce & Gabbana The Makeup cosmetics campaign for autumn 2010? Gorgeous as always, but when she turns on her sultry side you really do get a beautiful campaign. I love what she is wearing, matching black lace-up pants a matching bustier.

Admittedly this is probably a very photoshopped campaign but she does look gorgeous.

Where: World premiere of Iron Man 2 held at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre

Wearing: A sculptural one-shoulder white Giorgio Armani Privé moon-green triple organza lamé cocktail dress with lots of ruffles teamed with Armani Privé shoes

Verdict: I love this asymmetrical cocktail dress, it has a glamorous vintage feel about it and Scarlett wears it well. With the media playing up the battle of Scarlett vs Gwyneth – I think this frock wins outright!

Wearing: A Giorgio Armani micro-mini gold metallic short suit with black peep-toes and clutch

Verdict: Lets start with what I love – well she has amazing legs *nearly makes me want to start doing yoga* and she paired this brave outfit with some great peep-toe heels *even though I’m not sure they are the best choice for what she is wearing*, and also loved that she dared to wear nothing under the blazer. However, even though I am pleased she went for something new on the red carpet I don’t like this short suit on her, if it was someone else *maybe a little younger* then it would probably work. Sorry Gwynie I think Scarlett pipped you!!

Wearing: Looking stunning in a grey RM by Roland Mouret cocktail dress paired with Christian Louboutin heels

Verdict: I can’t lie Scarlett looks amazing, she is stunning, this frock as with all Roland Mouret dresses is a structural wonder – but is it glamorous enough for me? Not so much – maybe if it was in a cobalt blue or purple – but grey is a little boring. On the plus side her hair looks fab!!
