Wearing: A black floor-skimming John Rocha gown with train, featuring sheer t-shirt arms, bodice and intricate cut-out detailing to the skirt

Verdict: Wow, simply stunning. At first glance this is just another black gown on an awards red carpet, but take a closer look and the detailing in this John Rocha gown is exquisite. You don’t often see John Rocha’s gowns on the red carpet, and it totally makes me wonder why after seeing this black beauty on Saoirse. To be honest, I really think this girl can wear anything and still look stunning, I love seeing the different options that she goes for.

One think that surprises me is that she hasn’t picked up any lucrative deals for an ad campaign – she is gorgeous, has great style, and can work anything she is given.

Verdict: Back in January I said that Saoirse was a star of the future, not only in acting but also in style, and that is certainly true with this gorgeous Miu Miu shift dress. Saoirse really pulls off this 60s-style dress with ease considering her young age. I love the fact that she kept her hair and jewellery simple and let the lacy dress do all the talking. I know that I am a champion of all things Miu Miu but come on who can deny the beauty of this gown?

Critics’ Choice Awards: Star Of The Future – Saoirse Ronan

May be new to the Hollywood scene, Irish teenage actress Saoirse Ronan, but she certainly didn't shy away from the red carpet at the Critics' Choice Awards last night.

The Lovely Bones star dressed in a multicoloured print dress scooped the Best Young Actor for her role in the movie. I love the fact she dressed her young age, she remembered that she is only 15-years-old, and the cute print frock with gold boots really works for her. It looks like it is beaded sequins - and the gold accents in the dress really bring out the colours.

Fab dress!! Showed that she had some personality and fashion promise as well as acting ability, a perfect combination to stardom, I am sure that we will see a lot more of her on the fashion pages in the future.
