Cover Loving: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley For Vogue Brazil

RHW Vogue Brazil cover Cover Loving: Rosie Huntington Whiteley For Vogue Brazil %tag

Up there with Diane Kruger and Kate Hudson has to be Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, as well as working it on the red carpet and having great street style, Rosie is one of my favourite cover stars.

Her latest cover for Vogue Brazil’s April issue is one of my favourites this year and it is all to do with the Boho-Elvis mash-up of the styling.

Shot by photographer Henrique Gendre, this is a striking cover – I love the rhinestone embellished jumpsuit, the shaggy coat, and especially the black wide-rimmed hat – seriously great styling by Luis Fiod and Rosie looks incredible.

The accompanying editorial entitled ”Gladiadora do Futuro” translated as Future Gladiator is just as cool – I think Rosie is the only model who can make walking through a petrol station, talking a payphone and lounging about in a diner sexy!!!

Are you a fan of Rosie’s latest cover?

LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Gucci

Gucci RHW LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala: Rosie Huntington Whiteley In Gucci %tagWho: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Where: At the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala host by Gucci honouring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick

Wearing: A striking mint green floor-length Gucci gown featuring a ruffled neckline that cascaded down her back, teamed with white Gucci ankle-strap heels and a Gucci perspex clutch - all from the spring/summer 2013 collection

Verdict: The M&S designer/model/actress always looks stunning, she has an effortless beauty about her, which is perfect for this gorgeous elegant gown.

I love her barely there make-up, I truly adore that she wore her hair in a braided bun, it really showed off that wonderful neckline to the dress, and I am so pleased that she teamed her mint green dress with that icy coloured clutch.

I really don’t think I can fault this look. As always Rosie you look stunning.

Shopping: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Launches Her M&S Lingerie Collection

RosieLingerie12 Shopping: Rosie Huntington Whiteley Launches Her M&S Lingerie Collection %tag

Yesterday I was a lucky blogger, I got to be in a room with the gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who as regularly readers will know I am slightly obsessed with and she totally didn’t disappoint. Presenting her inaugural collection of sexy and luxurious lingerie for Marks & Spencer, Rosie talked through her inspirations, mainly her love of the 20s era, drawing on her experiences as a model, as well as replicating her favourite vintage Kimono vintage from her own wardrobe.RosieLingerie19 Shopping: Rosie Huntington Whiteley Launches Her M&S Lingerie Collection %tag

I was hoping for colour, especially as her lingerie line is a like a floral bloom, but I wasn’t disappointed in seeing Rosie looking stunning in a £55 fitted black dress from the M&S Autograph collection. Yep, you read that right, Rosie the supermodel wore and looked stunning in a dress we could all rush out and buy. The black peplum dress is gorgeous, I love the leather panel detail to the front, and I was surprised that it was off the high street. Finishing off her look were two skinny belts in black and burgundy, which really did highlight her tiny, tiny waist, and every celebrities favourite nude heels. It was classic and professional.

Unlike other celebrity lines, which I have to be honest I am always wary about how much they actually put into the collections, hearing Rosie talk in such detail and passion about each piece that came out in the presentation was refreshing. If the collection wasn’t stunning enough on its own, I loved it even more after hearing Rosie talk about it, I loved that even though she is drop-dead gorgeous she still has a shyness about her, her hands were glued to her notes and she didn’t look up much from them, it is nice to know that public speaking even makes one of the most stunning women on the planet nervous.RosieLingerie3 Shopping: Rosie Huntington Whiteley Launches Her M&S Lingerie Collection %tag

The 33-piece collection really is stunning, I loved everything from the colour palette of muted tones of dusky pink and green through to the scarlet blooms, and my favourite aspects of the collection had to be the intricate detailing of the Art Deco-inspired embroidery. M&S must really be patting themselves on their back for snagging Rosie as she is a star and this collection will no-doubt do well as it is gorgeous.

Prices start at £12.50 for knickers, through to £22.50 for bras and £65 for the silk kimono. Plus this collection has been made for nearly everyone, bra sizes range from A-E cups with selected styles G cup, and the knickers range from size 8 to 20.

I think £35 for a gorgeous bra set is amazing, but I can’t wait for the gorgeous cashmere pyjamas that are due later in the year they looked divine.

The Rosie for Autograph Collection is on sale in stores and online now – will you be buying her designs?

Cover Loving: Models Continue To Shine On The September Issues

SeptemberIssueModels Cover Loving: Models Continue To Shine On The September Issues %tag

I love celebrities and I do love seeing celebrities on magazine covers, yep even I have been persuaded to buy a magazine just because my favourite actress is on the cover, but I have to be honest I do love it when models take covers, more so when it is a September issue – as they are the fashion issues of the year.

It seems that this September the supermodels really are taking over and producing some amazing covers. I have already shown you ELLE UK’s gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, well the subscriber cover dropped through my letterbox over the weekend and I am so pleased they showcased her incredible pins!!! Well it seems that more magazines around the world understand the power of a model – Flare, Canada’s biggest fashion magazine has gone for Lindsey Wixson, Vogue UK and Japan both went for Karlie Kloss, Tokyo Numero have the lovely Candice Swanepoel, and Tatler shows that Cindy Crawford can still work it.

One of my favourite covers so far for September has to be Flare’s gold rush with Lindsey Wixson wearing a coat, top and skirt from Prabal Gurung’s autumn/winter 2012 collection, with incredible Laruicci earrings and a super pop of red lippy.

What I love about this cover, other than the obvious – her striking beauty, I still can’t believe that she is only 18-years-old, but that Flare didn’t go for one of the obvious, high-spending advertisers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton or Gucci – it is always refreshing to see, especially with a September issue.

I was expecting a lot from British Vogue, September as they state themselves is ‘Fashion’s Olympic moment’, but for me this vibrant  seventies-inspired look doesn’t quite cut it for me. Shot by Nick Knight, I love the Jonathan Saunders high-waisted gold printed skinny trousers teamed with a clashing printed silk shirt, but I am put off by Karlie’s pose, I am not sure Tara would approve, and I really dislike the orange and pink text – just too much.

I think I am going to have to give it to Vogue Japan, their September issue featuring Karlie in an Yves Saint Laurent chainmail dress is divine. I love the moody feel to this cover, the white background works perfectly with the smoky tones and of course it wouldn’t be Japanese without the text overload. Everything from the styling to the make-up to her pose and the text works on this cover shot by Mikael Jansson.

Special mention has to go to Cindy Crawford, how stunning does she look for Tatler, she really doesn’t age I couldn’t believe that she is 46 – she is giving these younger models a run for their money!!!

Have you been impressed with the September covers so far? Do let me know which ones are your favourites.

Cover Loving: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley For ELLE UK

ELLEUKRosie Cover Loving: Rosie Huntington Whiteley For ELLE UK %tagSeptember issues are always highly anticipated, they are generally the biggest, make the most money, and every magazine wants their cover to shine, and of course who could forget it was the focus of the incredible documentary, The September Issue about Vogue US’s 2007 September magazine.

Generally for September celebrities become the cover stars over actual models, more so than usual I feel, Marie Claire UK has already unveiled Rachel Weizz, and the American titles have tapped the likes of Victoria Beckham (Glamour US), Katy Perry (ELLE US), and Vogue US have gone for Lady Gaga who of course is promoting her debut fragrance.

Out of all the cover stars I am excited to see Victoria Beckham’s her covers have been amazing lately, as well as Gwen Stefani on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar US I am a huge No Doubt fan so I am so pleased to see her back, also Miley Cyrus for Marie Claire US, she has surprised me lately on the red carpet and stunned me with her incredibly toned body I am expected greatness from the accompanying editorial, and I am pleased that Emma Stone is getting a September cover with Interview.

Back to ELLE UK’s September cover star, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who once again looks stunning, she really is a jaw-dropping beauty and totally knows how to work a wind machine, and I am loving this newsstand cover with her wearing a look from the Dolce & Gabbana autumn/winter 2012 collection. I am excited to see the subscribers cover drop through my letterbox as her July 2011 cover was one of my favourites last year and I am sure this September issue will be just as amazing.

I also think the editorial spread will be just as stunning as ELLE has teased us on their website that the accompanying editorial will feature autumn/winter 2012 fashion from the likes of Marios Schwab, Burberry,  and Jil Sander, as well as pieces from Rosie’s M&S lingerie collection.

What do you think of Rosie’s September cover – will you be buying when it hits newsagents on August 1?

Met Gala 2012: Rosie In Burberry

rosie Met Gala 2012: Rosie In Burberry %tag

Who: British actress and Burberry Body Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Where: At the Met Gala 2012 in New York

Wearing: A long-sleeved copper and black draped-back tulle Burberry gown with hand-embroidered glass beads, teamed with a gold clutch

Verdict: Last year in a vibrant pink silk Burberry gown Rosie stunned me, and even though this is a more somber colour it is just as sexy. One thing I will say is when I saw it on the live-stream I love the way it shimmered, it doesn’t however photograph as well, which is a real shame as this is a gorgeous gown.

I really don’t think RHW can do anything wrong, she has the perfect body, great elegance, and everything about this look is diving, especially her hair, very chic – LOVE it a lot.

Style Crush: My Love For Rosie Keeps Growing

Rosie1 Style Crush: My Love For Rosie Keeps Growing %tag

My style crush for Burberry Body model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley isn’t a secret, everything from her red carpet appearances to her stylish street style it seems Rosie can do no wrong for me, and the model/actress has also started a resurgence in high-street brand M&S after starring in its romantic campaigns with Ryan Reynolds. I seriously can’t get enough of her and even though I wasn’t thrilled at her replacing Megan Fox in Transformers it was her promotional tour for her first blockbuster that brought her to my attention.

Since then, every time I have come across an editorial spread starring the lovely Rosie, I do find myself swooning slightly, and this one for American mag, Vs. Magazine is one of the best I have seen in a while and maybe that has something to do with the fact it was shot by her friend Greg Williams. The English beauty really does ooze sex and glamour and this shoot is uber-glamorous.

Is it just me who is under Rosie’s spell?
