I chose the most inappropriate time to get ill last week with the biggest event in the fashion calendar took place – the 2010 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala, dubbed the ‘Oscars of Fashion’. The guest list was amazing as always, there was Sienna Miller’s first outing with Jude Law since they reunited, Anna Wintour dancing with Diddy, it was like a who’s who of the fashion world from Hollywood stars to models. Fashion label Rodarte’s designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy have collaborated with Swarovski Elements and actress Maggie Cheung and created four one-of-a-kind creations specifically for charity. Each piece has been inspired by Maggie Cheung and references one of her flicks, In the Mood for Love, Hero, Clean, and Heroic Trio.
