My Style: Day Two At London Fashion Week

Day two and I am already a little tired, yesterday was incredible I saw so many gorgeous collections and today was another early start and late finish.

I started with a Woolmark breakfast at the ME London, which is the new hotel opposite Somerset House that you might remember from my Warehouse press day post, it has the most incredible view that I couldn’t resist having my style piccies done there, and ended the day with Rihanna’s debut clothing collection for River Island.

With the long day, the feeling that I might be queuing a bit for Rihanna, in the end it was only 50 minutes late, and with the general running around, I went for my bright Nike trainers as they are super comfortable and work really well with a skater skirt.

As you know I like a statement t-shirt and a skater skirt and trainer combo deserves a good one and I have been saving my Zoe Karssen ‘Valley of the Dolls’ tee since I snapped it off The Outnet late last year. I kind of think this t-shirt was made for me, and like most people this fashion week monochrome looks have been all the rage, and I always think black and white works perfectly with bright pink accessories!!!

Sadly I took my style piccies so early, like 9am, I didn’t have time to get my make-up professionally done, I did rectify that later on in the day when I popped by the Handpicked Media suite and the lovely Bourjois team did me the exactly catwalk look they did for Zoe Jordan’s show yesterday. I just love the subtle cat-flick on my eyes and the pink lips.

My Style: Working My New Nike Kicks From Schuh

At the weekend it seems Cambridge was one of the few places to actually resemble summer, it was sunny, very sunny in fact, and actually warm, I even burnt a little, which was unexpected. I had friends staying for the weekend so we took in the sights of Cambridge, which meant a lot of walking, so I decided that I had to work my new Nike Delta high tops that I bought from Schuh.

This weekend was their first outing, I bought them about three weeks ago, but I had been worried that I wasn’t cool enough to pull them off, but once I had them on my feet I didn’t care they as they are so comfortable. I know everyone is about wedge trainers, which I love, but I just love that the classic high top shape.

I paired my beauties with their coral swoosh and laces with the casual vibe of my favourite navy cotton shirt dress from H&M, which for £7.99 is one of my go-to dresses at the weekend as it is so comfortable, not too tight, not too baggy, it’s perfect. I paired it with my rose belt that I bought months ago in the Dorothy Perkins sale, I love the pale blue against the navy and black and I love that it pops nicely against the pink.

I have a little scarf obsession lately, New Look seems to have a lot of cool designs and this zebra print is one of my favourites at the moment, I love the pale pink colour as it generally means I can get it to work with anything, while it still has the quirky vibe of the zebras.

Finishing off my look are my trusty CK shades, I love these beauties, plus my rather large, very bright Ice-Watch, and the tiniest bag I own my cross-body bag that I bought from Debenhams last year, it basically fits my Blackberry, purse and car keys and that’s it!!!

So what do you think – do you like my kicks?
