I am always a little hesitant on blogging too many New York Fashion Week shows especially as I am not there in person, but I couldn’t resist posting these gorgeous gowns from the Monique Lhuillier autumn/winter 2012 collection showcased yesterday. I think I was in the minority when I loved Sarah Michelle Gellar’s blue ink swirl gown worn to the Golden Globes, but one thing that no one can dispute is how absolutely striking Monique Lhuiller’s floor-length gowns are – and I am sure after yesterdays show a number of high-profile stylists are trying to pull these looks in for their clients for possible Oscar options.
I always find it hard narrowing down my best dressed list, it is easier to say what I don’t like, as I fall in love a lot with red carpet gowns so naming just five is hard.
