Video Loving: MinkPink Has An Animal Attraction

One of my fav Aussie brands, MinkPink has launched its first global viral video, and with the freezing cold weather I thought it was the perfect treat to warm you all up. This is one cool brand but add some cute models, gorgeous clothes, funky flamingo shades, and a few animal masks and balloons and it makes one fun video.

I just love the fusion of colours, textures, and the electric mash-up of the whole viral. I have my eye on a number of pieces especially the bold polka dots, the pinky-purple velvet dress, and that gorgeous blue vest with laser-cut detailing.

Now all I need to ask is any chance the MinkPink girlies can be my pals – they look a lot of fun, oh and how do you reckon I can get myself a tiger balloon???

Made In Oz: Minkpink Has A Bohemian Vibe For Autumn

I am kind of having a love affair with Australian brands since I checked out the amazing collections at Greene & Sheppard PR’s press day. One Oz brand that always stands out for me has to be Minkpink, if you haven’t heard of Minkpink before you are in for a treat, think vintage-inspired fashion with a quirky personality, with a reasonable price tag.

Here in Blighty you can pick up Minkpink at ASOS and Urban Outfitters and I just love the bohemian vibe for autumn/winter, with its crochet knits, maxi skirts, and most of all its quirky prints.

The first range to hit the stores is ‘California Dreaming’ in October, and I have to say this is my favourite with its 60s vibe. I am just loving the flares, the maxi lengths, and the dark floral and paisley prints. I particularly love this gorgeous oversized ‘Cheet Sheet’ shirt with its leopard print it looks cool with skinny jeans, and the ‘Intricate’ dress teamed with knee-high socks and a floppy hat, this look book has great styling. I can see celeb fan Whitney Port loving this range.

Coming in November is ‘Dimestore Diamond’ a ‘hotchpotch of vintage-inspirations’, with its statement knits, wide leg pants, striking prints; generally speaking it is right to look a little wrong!!

If you are brave enough to work the pieces together then more power to you, me however will be cherry picking certain items, especially that gorgeous cropped jumper, the maxi skirt and the ‘Two Faced’ maxi jumper below, which I completely adore and kind of imagine that it is like wearing my slanket outside!!

The last of the autumn/winter 2011 ranges for this year is ‘Virgin Suicides’ released in December. This collection is more feminine than the other two lines, with flowing dresses and blouses in a pastel palette of rose, blue and lilac. I love this ‘Stairway to Heaven’ jumper and the very sexy ‘Back Away Slowly’ shirt dress, which might I add has the coolest name ever!!!

Want to see the clothes in action then check out this cool video. I am lusting after so many styles.
