Who: Blake Lively
Where: At the 2014 CFDA Awards, hosted by Swarovski, held at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center in New York
Wearing: A sequinned Michael Kors dress with a scalloped hemline from the Resort 2015 collection, teamed with Lorraine Schwartz diamond hoops and a stack of the designer jewellers’ wood and diamond bracelets, pink suede heels and a headband
Verdict: Most of the talk about the CFDA Awards red carpet has been about Rihanna’s ‘naked’ dress but for me I think everyone should be talking about how Blake Lively just looked like a true ’60s bombshell, I am seriously loving her Barbarella hairdo and Alice band.
Everything about this dress works for me – the sparkles, the scalloped hemline, the mini-dress length, the colour, and the cute styling – I think the only thing I think I would change are the shoes they look a little too chunky for this glamorous look.
More than anything this dress is fun, while still keeping with Blake’s statuesque glamour – but it is her flawless hair and make-up that really makes me take notice. My girl crush on her is getting to Diane Kruger proportions.
What do you think of Blake’s ’60s look?

Who: Julianna Margulies
Where: At the God’s Love We Deliver 2013 Golden Heart Awards in New York City
Wearing: Head-to-toe Michael Kors in an optic white tuxedo jacket and trousers with black sandals from the Resort 2014 collection, teamed with a black clutch and chandelier earrings
Verdict: At a gala event honouring Michael Kors, where most of the celebs including Jennifer Hudson and Olivia Munn went for cocktail dresses and floor-length gowns, Julianna Margulies stood out in this sleek white tuxedo with black trims.
As well as generally loving how Julianna always goes for the bold move on the red carpet, even though sometimes it doesn’t always work out, I’m a little obsessed with women in suits, I even have a Pinterest board filled with them and she is completely rocking this look.
A woman in a black tuxedo looks hot, a woman in a white tuxedo with black detailing looks extremely chic, and I adore Michael Kors’ take on the iconic look – the black detailing down the trouser leg, on the pockets and lapels is just perfection.
If the tux was enough to get me excited just look at how immaculate her hair and make-up is – that topknot really shows off her gorgeous face and those diamond-encrusted earrings.
I love everything about this look.
Do you love Julianna’s white tuxedo as much as me or would you have rather she walked the red carpet in a Michael Kors gown?

There have been some different poses on the September issues – there was Kate Perry doing the Flamingo for ELLE UK, the criss-cross legs and arms craziness of Jennifer Aniston for US Glamour, and then a pose I think Tyra Banks would be impressed with – the lovely Nina Dobrev doing the ‘oops my shoe just came off’ on the cover of US Cosmopolitan.
The Vampire Diaries star looks absolutely incredible on the cover in a gorgeous houndstooth Dior dress teamed with matching Valentino heels – this awkward pose isn’t easy to pull off but she really does it with ease while keeping her face and expression looking amazing. Plus I don’t normally care so much about the cover lines, but I do love how Cosmo wrapped them perfectly to show off her flawless figure.
I think I just love how Cosmo this cover is!!!
Shot by Matthias Vriens-McGrath and styled by Aya Kanai, the cover story continues to impress inside with a fashion editorial featuring looks from Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, more Valentino, and that Gucci dress that everyone can’t get enough of – we’ve seen Jennifer Lopez in it, Olivia Wilde and Chloë Moretz.
My favourite look though has to be this gorgeous Michael Kors with the orange skirt teamed with those hot laced-up boots in front of such a picturesque background – plus her hair, braided to the side is just divine.
Are you a fan of Nina Dobrev’s debut Cosmo cover?
Who: Nina Dobrev
Where: At the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards at Santa Monica Beach, sponsored by Jameson
Wearing: A Michael Kors runway look from the spring/summer 2013 collection, featuring a white sleeveless top with gold embroidery, worn with white tailored shorts, and a gold belt, teamed with gold strappy Jimmy Choo heels and a H Stern ring
Verdict: Check out Nina’s pins – seriously wow – this shorts and top look is divine styling. I love how simple the combination is, which is perfect for the laid-back vibe of the beach setting at the Independent Spirit Awards, while it still has the glitz of an award ceremony look with the gold accessories and that striking embroidered top.
As well as being perfectly dressed for the event, I adore the youthful nature of this look, which when I interviewed her stylist Ilaria Urbinati she said was an important part of putting looks together for the 24-year-old Vampire Diaries star, and I certainly think her young fan-base will be trying to recreate this gorgeous look.

Who: Angelina Jolie
Where: At the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills, Calfornia
Wearing: A black wool crepe and lace Michael Kors gown, featuring long sleeves, cut-out detailing and a thigh-high split, from the pre-fall 2012 collection; teamed with black peep-toe heels and a clutch
Verdict: Lace really is having a moment lately, we saw a lot of bridal lace at the Golden Globes, and the Duchess of Cambridge who revived the trend looked regal at a recent film premiere in Alice Temperley, and Angie is the latest celebrity wanting a piece of the lace action.
For me, it isn’t a knock-out like her Golden Globes dress, but there is an elegance and sophistication about it, while still having a modern flavour with the cut-out detailing to the bodice, and the lace covered back. Of course it wouldn’t be Angie if there wasn’t a thigh-high split involved, which is perfect for this dress as it needs a sexiness about it to not look too ordinary.
Finally, congrats Angie for receiving The Stanley Kramer Award for In the Land of Blood and Honey, about a love story during the Bosnian war, which she wrote, directed and produced.
