It has been a while since I have actually posted something on my blog that hasn’t had something to do with my wedding, sorry about that but I hope you understand that it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I just had to share. So, before I bombard you with photographs from my UK celebrations that fingers crossed you all want to see, I thought I would showcase this amazing editorial from the latest issue of Vogue Paris with real-life designer Barbie dolls.
Who: Zoe Saldana
Where: At the world premiere of her new flick Marvel’s space adventure ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles
Verdict: Well I think it is safe to say that pregnancy isn’t going to stop Zoe Saldana making edgy fashion choices and I am so pleased as I think she looks insane in this sexy-chic Louis Vuitton outfit.
I love how this look is edgy, with the flash of her white bralet and accented with that harness-like belt detailing, but it also has a elegance with the long sleeves and jagged edge lace to the skirt, as well as a sexiness with the semi-sheer nature of the dress.
Add those feathered Jimmy Choo heels and that gorgeous side swept faux bob and for me this is one amazing look, but I wonder what it would have looked like without the belt.
Are you a fan of Zoe Saldana’s latest red carpet look?
Who: Chinese actress Fan Bingbing
Where: At the Opening Night of The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival for the Great Gatsby Cannes Film Festival premiere held at the Theatre Lumiere
Wearing: A duchess satin strapless Louis Vuitton gown with a sequinned bodice, finishing off her look with a Louis Vuitton minaudière and Chopard jewellery
Verdict: What I love about Cannes is the drama of the red carpet, the gowns are always that much bigger, luxurious, and generally custom. For the past few years Fan Bingbing has really shined through with her incredible Asian-inspired gowns like last year when she looked like she was wearing a tapestry.
It is hard for any dress to top last year but this gorgeous rose pink one does a good job. I love the long train, the intricate detailing of the bodice, and it all works perfectly styled with a gold tasselled Louis Vuitton minaudière and her Chopard jewellery.

Where: At the 85th Annual Academy awards held in Los Angeles
Wearing: A custom Louis Vuitton Klein blue silk faille strapless corset gown, featuring a contrasting black bow trim to the bustier and a train, teamed with Louis Vuitton fine jewellery and Christian Louboutin heels
Verdict: This was one of my favourite gown’s of the night and it was all because of the bold colour, it stood out against her blonde side-swept wavy locks and with a red carpet filled with nude tones I loved that she went with colour.
I know that I state Old Hollywood glamour maybe too much, but Reese was definitely oozing sophistication and sex appeal in this gorgeous yet simple gown, and I love that she didn’t over-do her make-up and jewellery – minimal and subtle worked perfectly.
