Wearing: A ruby silk-georgette long-sleeved embellished dress teamed with a Chanel bag and Fendi peep-toe bow heels

Verdict: I love the beaded detail on this dress but for me it has to be the colour the ruby is amazing. How cute does Lo look and her legs – wow – finishing The Hills has done wonders for her. This is a super flattering dress which I also think would totally work for the day as well with flats.

Tonight may be the last ever The Hills in America but one reality starlet which doesn’t want to be forgotten is Lo Bosworth. Today, Lo launched her own digital media company, thelowdown.com, billed as ‘a guide to fashion, relationships, the good life and everything in between’.

“I’m thrilled to get to know my audience on an entirely new level with TheLoDown,” says Lo. “We are creating a community and giving the users the power to drive conversation and interact with one another.”

Lo has teamed with a couple of writers and will be sharing her advice straight from her own personal experiences as well as answering readers questions. Obviously getting some material for her relationship guidebook for girls, The Lo Down, which hits shelves in America January 11, 2011.

Well I’ve been and checked it out and I like the style of it, floaty type face, light grey colour scheme and torn paper backgrounds; I love the simple picture headers for the categories – relationships, health & fitness, style, beauty, life and community. It is chic and not in your face – I like it.

I have an addiction to magazines, American ones especially and The Hills – so Glamour US this month feels like it has been made just for me.

OK I know that Lauren Conrad has appeared on the cover of the magazine before – but I love the dressed down California-chic styling that they have done with this cover. Also totally fitting for the ‘friends’ issue LC is joined by true pals Lo Bosworth and Whitney Port in a cute photo shoot.

We’ve not seen a lot of her since she left The Hills, but she has two best-selling books, fronted an Avon campaign and by the sound of it let her relationship with actor Kyle Howard blossom. She opens up about her boyfriend, body confidence, her style as well as her friendship with the girls.

The May issue is out now in America – give it a few days and I will track my copy down.
