Where: At the 85th Annual Academy awards held in Los Angeles

Wearing: A coral Miu Miu gown with a nude tulle bustier embellished with paillettes and crystals, accessorised with a Prada clutch, a Fred Leighton ring, Chopard earrings, and Christian Louboutin heels

Verdict: This custom-made Miu Miu gown literally sparkled on the red carpet and stood out as until Kerry Washington had arrived everyone was in a nude, pale colour and this coral number really did cheer me up.

This dress is cute, I love the bow detailing, I love the sparkles of the embellished bodice, and I love the sweet colour – I also love the colour-matching accessories of the clutch and heels.

The only thing I am missing are her bangs that she had yesterday at the Spirit Awards.

Wearing: A two-tone floral Giambattista Valli dress from the autumn/winter 2012 Haute Couture collection, teamed with floral printed Christian Louboutin heels, a blush coloured textured Bottega Veneta clutch, and a gold watch

Verdict: I am seriously growing a girl crush on Kerry Washington, lately her red carpet choices have been so gorgeous, sometimes a little daring, but always pretty and this head-to-toe floral look is no different.

I love that it is colourful, perfect for the relaxed vibe of the Independent Spirit Awards, while still maintaining that fashion-edge with the bold two-tone floral print, and I am in love with those Christian Louboutin floral heels – such great styling.

As well as being in love with her dress I also have bang envy – her fringe is incredible – perfectly frames her face.

After seeing this look I am super excited to see her tonight at The Oscars.

SAG Awards: Kerry Washington In Rodarte

Where: At the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles

Wearing: A strapless white silk tulle Rodarte gown featuring an embellished bodice with Swarovski Elements and silver lace around the hemline and back, teamed with a silver Judith Leiber clutch, white Christian Louboutin heels, and jewellery from Fred Leighton

Verdict: Kerry Washington is fast becoming on of my favourite red carpet stars as I just don’t know what she is going to wear, and like Diane Kruger she seems to have an ability to wear near enough anything and look incredible.

This Rodarte gown was not only stunning on her but a little unexpected, which is probably why it was one of my favourite looks from the SAG Awards red carpet. Normally white gowns don’t work for me on the red carpet, but this dress has an edgy quality with the structured embellished bodice, which is complemented nicely with the soft lace-trimmed skirt.

Finishing off her gorgeous look were stunning diamond jewels from Fred Leighton, I love her ’50s platinum drop earrings and that metallic Judith Leiber box clutch is perfection. Then add in her flawless make-up and up-do and this for me is a perfect red carpet look.

Where: At the photocall for her latest movie Django Unchained in Berlin, Germany

Wearing: A white and ivory chequered calf-length Louis Vuitton dress from the spring/summer 2013 collection, styled with a white Louis Vuitton bow headband, a tiny Vince Camuto clutch and white Christian Louboutin heels

Verdict: I wasn’t sure when I first saw Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2013 collection, then I went to see the pieces up-close at their press day and I don’t know what happen I fell in love with the chequered effect, and this dress really stood out.

I have been waiting to see it on the red carpet as I wondered if the styling would translate and I am so pleased to say it does and that is all down to Kerry Washington really embracing the calf-length and that adorable bow headband.

There is a fresh feel about Kerry in this look that I love and I am also adoring her doll-like Vince Camuto clutch – the most darling bag I have ever seen on the red carpet, which works perfectly with the large chequered print.

I am sure this look will be a little like Marmite for some but I am loving it – what do you think of Kerry’s latest look?

Wearing: A white tulle Donna Karan dress, look 40 from the Resort 2011 collection, teamed with nude pointed-toe Christian Louboutin heels and an ivory clutch

Verdict: Rather than going for a traditional princess dress, this is a modern day ballerina dress and I completely love it. Not only does the sheer white dress look amazing on her – I just love its bold silhouette – very couture and so, so stunning. The only thing I think I would change about this look is the accessories, on first look I just felt they were a bit too bridal and this dress totally deserved better.
