London Film Festival: Keira Knightley In Valentino

Who: Keira Knightley

Where: At the opening night gala screening of “The Imitation Game” during the 58th BFI London Film Festival at Odeon Leicester Square, London

Wearing: A gold lace haute couture Valentino gown from the autumn/winter 2014 couture collection, teamed with red Charlotte Olympia heels and David Morris earrings

Verdict: One thing you are guaranteed with Keira Knightley is elegance and she certainly delivers that in this gorgeous embroidered gold lace tiered couture gown. I love everything about this gown, from the colour to the romantic lace embroidery to the long-sleeves, however I am not frilled by those red suede heels with this look.

As well as adoring the gown, I have to gush over her incredible pink and white diamond Pagoda earrings from David Morris, aren’t they just divine.

I also couldn’t help think that if this gown was in white how it would make an exquisite wedding gown – romantic, modern and stunning. I know, I have weddings on the brain, but I just think it would be perfect for a bride wanting romance and glam on her big day.

Begin Again Promo: Keira Knightley In Prada

Who: Keira Knightley

Where: On the New York streets heading into a press conference for her new film, Begin Again

Wearing: Head-to-toe Prada in a pleated light-blue silk dress, teamed with a stone-encrusted light-blue satin clutch and silver calf shoes. Finishing off her look with very cool sunglasses and chic chignon up-do.

Verdict: There is always a grace about Keira that I love and this look is so her – everything from the icy blue colour to the pleated skirt and the bedazzled clutch. This is a great daytime look and I can imagine a lot of people using this as inspiration for wedding outfits this summer.

I love everything about this love, the pleated detailing, the collar, the T-shirt style sleeves and the colour, I even love her choice of clutch and sunglasses, both are just so much fun, I am just not sure about the heels. I don’t mind them being silver, I actually like that, I just think a strappy shoe would have worked a little better.

Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit: Keira Knightley Is Pretty In Chanel

Keria-Knightley-chanel-Who: Keira Knightley

Where: At the premiere of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood

Wearing: A navy Chanel dress with white-trim around the neckline, cuffs and around the waist, and accented with bow detailing, teamed with round-toe heels and smoky blue eyes

Verdict: There aren’t many Hollywood stars that could pull this non-glam vintage-inspired look on the red carpet for a glitzy premiere, maybe Diane Kruger and most certainly my new red carpet favourite Michelle Dockery, and Keira Knightley really does pull it off with ease.

For some this look might seem a little dull and even frumpy, for me it is the dresses classic chic vibe that makes it pretty, and I adore that it is navy rather than black, a colour I am a little obsessed with and you don’t often see it on the red carpet.

As well as loving her pretty frock, it was her smoky blue eye make-up that really grabbed my attention – isn’t that just perfect with her wavy updo.

There is no denying that Keira is beautiful, but on this occasion I think she was up-staged on the red carpet by her co-star Chris Pine who just looked incredible in his tailored Ralph Lauren suit. He looks hot!!!

Toronto Film Festival: Keira Knightley Dazzles In Elie Saab

Who: Keira Knightley

Where: At the ‘Anna Karenina’ Premiere at the 2012 Toronto Film Festival

Wearing: A black short-sleeved embellished lace Elie Saab couture gown from the autumn/winter 2012 collection

Verdict: This is another breath-taking look from Keira, I have to be honest I wasn’t too fussed about Keira before but the incredible Chanel couture gown made me take notice and this is another exquisite choice.

One thing you can always rely on with Elie Saab is pure elegance, and even though this dress is very sheer, it is perfection and doesn’t overpower the gown – Keira really does look divine.

If Keira keeps this up I am definitely going to overdoing my use of the word ‘flawless’ – but come on who can blame me she really doesn’t look gorgeous.

Beauty: Recreate Keira Knightley’s Flawless Chanel Look From The Anna Karenina Premiere

This week the gorgeous Keira Knightley stepped onto the red carpet for her highly anticipated movie Anna Karenina in London. Turning to her go-to label Chanel, well she is the face Coco Mademoiselle, Keira wowed the red carpet in a truly stunning couture look from the autumn/winter 2012 collection.

The show-stopping rose-pink organza gown really looked incredible on her, it did have a hint of bridal about it, but I don’t think that mattered as the organza lace pleated design, embroidered with large camellias down the front panel teamed with the delicate sheer sleeves and the floral appliqués around the neckline made this dress an absolute hit for me.

As well as the dress wowing me, it was her flawless ethereal-look make-up that really made me take notice, Keira is undeniably a gorgeous woman but I adore her pretty make-up as it really suited the romantic feel of her gown.

Chanel’s make up artist Lisa Eldridge was behind her gorgeous look and she said that she was inspired by her beautiful Chanel dress.

“I wanted to create a soft, pale and pretty makeup that had a romantic feel but was careful to add strength around the eyes so the overall look wasn’t washed out against the dress. Above all, the makeup needed to be elegant and flatter Keira’s naturally beautiful face,” said Lisa.

I have to give it to Lisa, Keira’s look was perfectly romantic and elegant and worked beautifully with her divine couture gown.

Want to know how Lisa created Keira’s look? Well keep on reading, I have all the details of the Chanel products that she used and how to apply:

Lisa started with a flawless base using Chanel’s Perfection Lumière Foundation in 10 Beige applied with a brush and buffed into the skin. This was then followed by Éclat Lumière in 20 Beige Clair and Lift Lumière Concealer in 10 Beige around Keira’s eyes and on the high points of her face to highlight. To set the skin, Lisa added a light dusting of Poudre Universelle Libre in 20 Clair.

Onto the eyes, which really shined out for me, Lisa used Ecriture De Chanel in Noir liquid line along Keira’s upper lashes, which was followed by powder shadow Ombre Essentielle in Ebony to soften.

At the outer corner Lisa lifted and elongated the liner into a small kitten flick and then Lisa washed a mixture of Ombres Contraste Duo in Gris–Subtil across Keira’s eyelid, and underneath the lower lashes for a soft shimmery silver/grey smoky effect.

Finishing off her eyes, Lisa added the shimmery pink Ombre Essentielle in Liberty at the socket line to blend and soften, and then she added Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Ebene along the lower waterline, and completed the eye look with lots of Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir and a few individual lashes at the outer edge of the upper lashes.

Have you ever wondered how Keira gets her English rose cheeks? Well, Lisa simply dusted Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Initiale mainly to the apples of the cheeks for a fresh flush of colour.

Finally, for Keira’s lips, Lisa shaped them with Le Crayon Lévres in Natural, and followed by the beautifully chic and elegant lipstick Rouge Allure in Evanescente.

I think you have to agree that Keira simply looks stunning – will you be giving her beauty look ago?

A Dangerous Method: Keira Knightley In Burberry Prorsum

Who: Keira Knightley

Where: At a screening of her new film, A Dangerous Method in London earlier this week

Wearing: A burgundy Burberry Prorsum gown with keyhole detail, an open back and black bow belt from the pre-fall 2012 collection, teamed with a Chanel quilted clutch and a black ring

Verdict: As always Keira really does bring an elegance and sophistication to the red carpet. What I love about this understated gown has to be the winter hue of the dress, there has been a lot of white, nudes and brights on the red carpet but it is always nice to see rich tones on floor-skimming gowns. A great return to the red carpet – can’t wait to see her styling on her promotional tour.

Jameson Empire Awards: Keira Knightley Sparkles in Nude Rodarte

Who: Actress Keira Knightley

Where: At the Jameson Empire Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel

Wearing: A nude embellished Rodarte dress from the spring 2011 collection, with cut-out shoulders, ruffles and collar detailing, teamed with black heels

Verdict: I know that some will despise this look, but probably the things that most people don’t like I love. From the granny vibe of the cut *yes I do love it*, to the 80’s cut-out shoulders and shimmering embellishments, and then we have the ruffles – divine. The only thing I am not as keen on are the black heels, making me wonder what the runway look was teamed with as these don’t quite work for me.
