This week the gorgeous Keira Knightley stepped onto the red carpet for her highly anticipated movie Anna Karenina in London. Turning to her go-to label Chanel, well she is the face Coco Mademoiselle, Keira wowed the red carpet in a truly stunning couture look from the autumn/winter 2012 collection.
The show-stopping rose-pink organza gown really looked incredible on her, it did have a hint of bridal about it, but I don’t think that mattered as the organza lace pleated design, embroidered with large camellias down the front panel teamed with the delicate sheer sleeves and the floral appliqués around the neckline made this dress an absolute hit for me.
As well as the dress wowing me, it was her flawless ethereal-look make-up that really made me take notice, Keira is undeniably a gorgeous woman but I adore her pretty make-up as it really suited the romantic feel of her gown.
Chanel’s make up artist Lisa Eldridge was behind her gorgeous look and she said that she was inspired by her beautiful Chanel dress.
“I wanted to create a soft, pale and pretty makeup that had a romantic feel but was careful to add strength around the eyes so the overall look wasn’t washed out against the dress. Above all, the makeup needed to be elegant and flatter Keira’s naturally beautiful face,” said Lisa.
I have to give it to Lisa, Keira’s look was perfectly romantic and elegant and worked beautifully with her divine couture gown.
Want to know how Lisa created Keira’s look? Well keep on reading, I have all the details of the Chanel products that she used and how to apply:

Lisa started with a flawless base using Chanel’s Perfection Lumière Foundation in 10 Beige applied with a brush and buffed into the skin. This was then followed by Éclat Lumière in 20 Beige Clair and Lift Lumière Concealer in 10 Beige around Keira’s eyes and on the high points of her face to highlight. To set the skin, Lisa added a light dusting of Poudre Universelle Libre in 20 Clair.

Onto the eyes, which really shined out for me, Lisa used Ecriture De Chanel in Noir liquid line along Keira’s upper lashes, which was followed by powder shadow Ombre Essentielle in Ebony to soften.
At the outer corner Lisa lifted and elongated the liner into a small kitten flick and then Lisa washed a mixture of Ombres Contraste Duo in Gris–Subtil across Keira’s eyelid, and underneath the lower lashes for a soft shimmery silver/grey smoky effect.
Finishing off her eyes, Lisa added the shimmery pink Ombre Essentielle in Liberty at the socket line to blend and soften, and then she added Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Ebene along the lower waterline, and completed the eye look with lots of Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir and a few individual lashes at the outer edge of the upper lashes.

Have you ever wondered how Keira gets her English rose cheeks? Well, Lisa simply dusted Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Initiale mainly to the apples of the cheeks for a fresh flush of colour.
Finally, for Keira’s lips, Lisa shaped them with Le Crayon Lévres in Natural, and followed by the beautifully chic and elegant lipstick Rouge Allure in Evanescente.
I think you have to agree that Keira simply looks stunning – will you be giving her beauty look ago?
