If like me you love this time of year with all the strawberries and cream, the pleated skirts, the outrageous tennis attire, I am talking about you Serena Williams, the smart Ralph Lauren outfits that the umpire and line judges wear, and even a spot of Rafa Nadal ogling – then I am sure you’re already glued to the TV watching the tennis at Wimbledon.

Well, as well as watching the TV, doing my work and my blog, I was also browsing the Kate Spade New York sale, as you do, and I came across what I can only describe as the most perfect accessory to carry to Wimbledon.

Seriously, could this faux grass Kate Spade New York Hold Court Quinn be any more perfect. I have to be honest Kate Spade is starting to become my go-to designer for cute and quirky, and I think this beauty at $111 down from $298 might be the perfect companion to my Armadillo bag!!!

This weekend I embraced the sun, granted for most of the weekend it was a little glum but when the sun did shine I was totally dressed for the occasion in my Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkins printed maxi dress and peplum top.

On Saturday, the weather wasn’t amazing I am in slight denial I want it to be summer so I can wear all my pretty clothes, so I decided to do just that with this pink and white floral printed maxi dress, which is one of my favourite pieces from the Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkins collection.

My beautiful and uber-comfortable maxi was teamed with my adorable Kate Spade New York Armadillo, it’s first outing since I was gifted it at the Kate Spade event I went to a few weeks ago and I am totally in love with it. Finishing off my look is a Barbie pink cardigan from New Look and a stack full of bracelets from Thomas Sabo, Ernest Jones, as well as two I made and my white gold bangle that my Mum got me for my 21st birthday that I just re-discovered in my jewellery box.

Yesterday, I went for a more casual vibe for hanging out with my friends in the garden, while trying to enjoy the rare glimpses of sun. This pink sleeveless bird print top is fast becoming one of my go-to tops, I love the shape, the vibrant print, as well as the exposed back zip, which I stupidly forgot to snap!!!

With the unpredictable weather this top is perfect teamed with jeans, the ones I am wearing here I have only had a few weeks but they are my new favs and they are from Warehouse, they are a little higher in the waist than other high-street jeans and so comfortable – they make me feel and look a little slimming, which is always a good thing.

Because my top is so bright I decided to go neon with my jewellery with my pink, orange and yellow bracelets, teamed with my Thomas Sabo pink bracelet but this time with my new dragonfly charm that I got for my birthday, and finishing up with my neon pink F*** Me I’m Famous Ice-Watch.

Finishing off my look are my Chanel sunglasses, I do love these beauties mainly for the cool chain-arm, but they are a little loose so I am afraid that I am going to damage them, and comfort rules with this outfit so only my bright pink Keds would do.

Kate Spade New York In Full Bloom

Before I jetted off to France I was invited to afternoon tea with Kate Spade New York’s creative director Deborah Lloyd at their Sloane Square store to celebrate the fashion label’s high summer collection and the Chelsea Flower Show. Before even joining the party inside the store I got very distracted as the windows have all been given a floral makeover, with brightly coloured orchids and peonies adorning the windows, which was just beautiful to see especially with this sunny spell we’ve been having. My pictures don’t do the windows justice, but trust me they are stunning, mix the flowers with Kate Spade NY’s gorgeous tailored pieces and colourful accessories and it makes such a statement.

The event was so much fun, a completed relaxed affair where I caught up with pals Ella of Coco’s Tea Party, Michelle aka Who Is Bob Parris, and Isabelle O’Carroll, as well as chatting to Deborah, who looked stunning in a gorgeous floral dress. The conversation was varied ranging from discussing Paris’ love bridge to how delicious the food was, and even bloggers style, which included praise for my Lulu Guinness for Uniqlo t-shirt, which led onto how cool Williamsburg girls are in New York, not sure how but it did, and I also gushed about the how much I adored the Armadillo straw bag, you may remember my blog on the Kate Spade Elephant bag, well this is this season’s version. One thing I did forget to ask was about the Kate Spade for Barbie doll, which is one of my favourites, I am dying to know if there will be another one.

I am already a huge fan of Kate Spade New York’s quirky accessories and statement jewellery, and I love all the gorgeous dresses, but it was nice to wander around the store and make my virtual wishlist!! What I would say is if you haven’t checked out the Kate Spade NY store off Sloane Square then you should it is such an adorable store, and if you are feeling down I would totally recommend a shopping spree here to cheer you up!!!
