Juicy Couture has really stepped it up to another level lately, I was blown away by its autumn/winter 2012 collection, and now the LA brand has tapped Karlie Kloss as its latest face and she really is kicking ass!!! In Juicy Couture’s first fashion film, shot by photographers Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Karlie takes to the beach and fights off a a couple of hunky surfers, a lifeguard and even a cop with a few karate chops and kicks in her very tight Juicy Jeans. I love celebrities and I do love seeing celebrities on magazine covers, yep even I have been persuaded to buy a magazine just because my favourite actress is on the cover, but I have to be honest I do love it when models take covers, more so when it is a September issue – as they are the fashion issues of the year. It seems that this September the supermodels really are taking over and producing some amazing covers. I have already shown you ELLE UK’s gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, well the subscriber cover dropped through my letterbox over the weekend and
I have to give it to Bally this is a great ad campaign, I just love the sultry sixties vibe that it has going on, oh and it helps that they have three absolutely stunning models: Brazilian model Caroline Trentini and top American model Karlie Kloss alongside Argentinian-born Nico Malleville. The campaign was shot back in April in New York by Steven Meisel *I know does everyone use him*, and was styled by British-stylist Edward Enninful *love*, under the guidance of Bally Creative Directors’ Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler. For some I am sure that the lighting will be an issue, but I like how
Love Karlie Kloss, love floral Louis Vuitton and with the added bonus of Patricia Van der Vliet – makes the November cover of Vogue China perfection.
The gorgeous Karlie Kloss shot by Patrick Demarchelier for the Donna Karan AW10 advertising campaign. Love the ruffles, the gloves and those amazing heels in the final shot.
