TMNT Press Conference: Megan Fox In Jonathan Saunders

Who: Megan Fox

Where: Attended a press conference for ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ in Seoul, South Korea

Wearing: A sheer printed Jonathan Saunders dress from the Resort 2015 collection, teamed with black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a leather belt

Verdict: So far on this promo tour everything Megan Fox has worn has been tight, short, and sexy, this floaty, girlie sheer printed beauty is a great departure. There is still her signature sexy in this dress, with the sheer skirt and thigh-high split, but I really love the print and colour on her.

The only thing I can’t rave about is that belt, it is a tad too heavy for this look for me, the dress is delicate, romantic and this belt is bulky, it weighs down the dress, a skinny black belt would have worked better for me.

But as always I love the hair and make-up, I don’t think I have ever said otherwise as she is a complete stunner. It is great seeing Megan back on the red carpet.

Hammer Museum Gala: Diane Kruger’s Jessica Rabbit Moment In Jonathan Saunders

Who: Actress Diane Kruger with her boyfriend Joshua Jackson

Where: At the 2013 Hammer Museum 11th Annual Gala held in California

Wearing: A red satin off-the-shoulder Jonathan Saunders dress with a pink push-up neckline from the autumn/winter 2013 collection, teamed with a Charlotte Olympia zodiac box clutch and strappy Stuart Weitzman heels

Verdict: If you ever need a definition for blonde bombshell think of this look – Diane Kruger looks incredible showing off her Jessica Rabbit curves in this sexy red dress.

I totally adore the dress, the red looks incredible on her, and I especially love the blush pink peak-a-boo bra detailing – it really does showcase a sexier side of her. I also love how the sexiness is balanced with the elegant just-below-the-knee length of the dress. I’m not sure how many stars would have been able to pull this off – but Diane looks stunning.

Everything about this look is well put together – the quirky Charlotte Olympia clutch, the nude heels and the red lippy – I just wish that her side ponytail was a little bit more sleek it just feels a little messy compared to the rest of the outfit.

Also a quick note to say how hot Joshua Jackson is looking – loving his curly hair!!!

The Bridge Premiere: Diane Kruger In Jonathan Saunders

Who: Diane Kruger aka my number one girl crush

Where: At the premiere of her new TV show The Bridge on FX in Los Angeles

Wearing: A green, white and black sleeveless chiffon Jonathan Saunders dress from the Resort 2014 collection, teamed with white Givenchy heels and a nude Charlotte Olympia ‘Cancer Pandora’ perspex clutch

Verdict: I do love seeing Diane Kruger on the red carpet as you never quite know what to expect, and I certainly couldn’t have predicted that she would wear this amazing Jonathan Saunders dress. I love the summery floaty vibe of the dress, with the sheer and ombre colouring of the green, black and white, which looks uber glamorous and fresh with the geometric print.

Even though I love the dress as it is with the black mini skirt underneath, I do wish is was more green and white and less black, her colouring and blonde hair just works against that jade green perfectly.

As always Diane completes her look with glamorous touches including stunning strappy Givenchy sandals that matches her chic white mani, and the most amazing clutch from Charlotte Olympia’s Zodiac collection that I have been coveting since I saw it April **I really want the Gemini one**.

Finishing off her look with flawless make-up, striking eyes and side swept waves by Giannandrea, who seems to be the go-to hairdresser for the red carpet, he has made Naomi Watts, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose Byrne and Isla Fisher look fabulous recently.

Simply – gorgeous as always!!!

Cover Loving: Models Continue To Shine On The September Issues

I love celebrities and I do love seeing celebrities on magazine covers, yep even I have been persuaded to buy a magazine just because my favourite actress is on the cover, but I have to be honest I do love it when models take covers, more so when it is a September issue – as they are the fashion issues of the year.

It seems that this September the supermodels really are taking over and producing some amazing covers. I have already shown you ELLE UK’s gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, well the subscriber cover dropped through my letterbox over the weekend and I am so pleased they showcased her incredible pins!!! Well it seems that more magazines around the world understand the power of a model – Flare, Canada’s biggest fashion magazine has gone for Lindsey Wixson, Vogue UK and Japan both went for Karlie Kloss, Tokyo Numero have the lovely Candice Swanepoel, and Tatler shows that Cindy Crawford can still work it.

One of my favourite covers so far for September has to be Flare’s gold rush with Lindsey Wixson wearing a coat, top and skirt from Prabal Gurung’s autumn/winter 2012 collection, with incredible Laruicci earrings and a super pop of red lippy.

What I love about this cover, other than the obvious – her striking beauty, I still can’t believe that she is only 18-years-old, but that Flare didn’t go for one of the obvious, high-spending advertisers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton or Gucci – it is always refreshing to see, especially with a September issue.

I was expecting a lot from British Vogue, September as they state themselves is ‘Fashion’s Olympic moment’, but for me this vibrant  seventies-inspired look doesn’t quite cut it for me. Shot by Nick Knight, I love the Jonathan Saunders high-waisted gold printed skinny trousers teamed with a clashing printed silk shirt, but I am put off by Karlie’s pose, I am not sure Tara would approve, and I really dislike the orange and pink text – just too much.

I think I am going to have to give it to Vogue Japan, their September issue featuring Karlie in an Yves Saint Laurent chainmail dress is divine. I love the moody feel to this cover, the white background works perfectly with the smoky tones and of course it wouldn’t be Japanese without the text overload. Everything from the styling to the make-up to her pose and the text works on this cover shot by Mikael Jansson.

Special mention has to go to Cindy Crawford, how stunning does she look for Tatler, she really doesn’t age I couldn’t believe that she is 46 – she is giving these younger models a run for their money!!!

Have you been impressed with the September covers so far? Do let me know which ones are your favourites.

My Style: London Fashion Week – Day 1

I always find fashion week extremely stressful when it comes to choosing what to wear, and generally it involves a last minute dash shopping the day before. That is how this outfit came about. The dress is from Debenhams Edition collection by Jonathan Saunders and I just loved the fit of it as well as the school-girl heavy pleats. It was quite warm yesterday and this dress is quite heavy and fully lined but I felt comfortable in it.

I paired my dark blue shift dress with geometric print at the top and nipped in at the waist with a skinny belt, teamed with my trusty Rebecca Minkoff, it is like my security blanket, and my Russell and Bromley patent brogues, flats were in order as I had a lot of walking between venues.

Thanks to the fab Abi Marvel for taking my picture, apologies for how unphotogenic I actual am!!

Debenhams Edition: Pop-Up Shop Opens in London – February 10

Last month when I saw the new Debenhams designer concept, Edition, I was so impressed as I loved every single piece. Well the diffusion lines from designers Jonathan Saunders, Preen and Jonathan Kelsey, don’t go on sale until February 14 nationwide but if you are lucky enough to live in London then you can enjoy the collection ahead of time, as Debenhams are opening a pop-up shop.

Located just off Carnaby Street, it opens tomorrow, February 10 at 10am, for a limited time only. Debenhams have gone for a black and white boutique feel, and I can’t wait to check it out and buy lots of my favourite pieces. There is also a fun element to the pop-up space as shoppers can be photographed with their purchases and have them added to the wall with a message or recommendation to others – LOVE!!

The Edition pop-up store is located at 8 Newburgh St, London, W1F 7RJ.

Edition: Debenhams New Designer Collections – Stunning

The week-before-last *sorry got caught up in award season* I was invite to check out the new designers hitting Debenhams as part of their new designer-highstreet platform, Edition. I am a big supporter of designers pieces which are purse friendly, and this collection blows anything that H&M and Gap have brought out in my opinion, as Debenhams have hooked up with Preen, Jonathan Saunders (above) and Jonathan Kelsey, and coming later this year the wonderful Roksanda Ilincic. Also to add to the brilliance of the tie-ups, this isn’t just a one collection deal, these amazing designers have promised a minimum of four seasons each *yes I did just squeal*.

Oh and did I mention that nothing is over £190 – and that is for a Preen leather jacket – yep you read right, the collections start at £18. Crazy pricing!!

Wow, this collection was stunning, and tons of it as it consists of nearly 30 pieces, and best of all it is instantly recognisable as Jonathan Saunders – clean understated shapes, great use of colours *the aqua shade is fierce* and cool prints. In my opinion this collection is what stood out for me in the showroom. Full of soft greys, acid greens and whites, complemented perfectly with pleats, sequins and printed chiffon overlaid on georgette detailing. Simply yet stunning.

Jonathan Saunders maxi only £50

My highlight was this stunning drape front maxi dress, the colour gorgeous, the cut so flattering, and OMG the price is amazing as it is only £50. I am sure I won’t be the only one purchasing this, I am already deciding where I will show it off!!

I also love the pleated hem mac, £99 (top image), the colour block dress with lime green panel, £65, reminds me of a sexy tennis dress, and the flora print maxi dress, £85 – I would have love to have seen this on a model I bet the movement would have been amazing. There is also a dip dye top that I have to bye which is only £32 – seriously great value.

Another amazing collaboration, which captures the label’s signature cool sophistication perfectly, in a gorgeous colour palette of neutral shades accented with fiery red and electric blue. I can totally see this collection being worn by celebrities at press junkets and photo-calls – seriously stylish.

Main Preen pic: nude frilly blouse is only £40, and the frill sleeve swing top, £35, and the zip detail skirt is a staggering £42.

Lots of work pieces in this collection, with its modern separates, it is definitely going to become a staple in my wardrobe. I love all the frill sleeves, frill hems, zips, lace trims, and pleats this collection for me is all about the detailing. My favourite piece had to be this gorgeous electric blue jersey belted dress (below), not only did it feel so soft *yes I felt it up*, but it is once again only £50, and that is with the belt – I checked!

The other two pieces I adored, were the most expensive piece out of all the collections the tassle crop leather jacket, with its cute lining is £190, and the sexy frill back maxi dress, reasonably priced at £60 – want!!

Rounding the collections off nicely is Debenhams first footwear specialist, the talented Jonathan Kelsey, who has designed a sleek line of shoes and handbags. The range is an empowering mix of high voltage glamour and equestrian heritage, the buckles and rivets are so hot and I loved it.

My favourite pieces had to be these peep toe shoe boots, £65 and this perfectly sized canvas satchel, £50, just think you can’t have one with out the other can you – they are a great match.

All the pieces are available from February 14 – is it wrong that I want to book the day off to shop?
