My Wedding: My Purely Diamonds Wedding Ring

My Wedding: My Purely Diamonds Wedding Ring

I didn’t know how important my wedding ring would mean to me until the love of my life placed it on my finger during out vows, it was at that moment I was so pleased that I didn’t go with a plain band and added some sparkle as it really represents what a beautiful moment we both shared.

Introducing: Shore Projects Watches

shore-projects-watch-4

I am fast becoming a little bit of a watch hoarder, collector, wearer **delete as appropriate**, I blame my fiancé, watches really are his thing. My obsession started as a way to frame my bracelet stacks, to add a splash of colour to an outfit, or a touch of bling. Basically I couldn’t find one watch to do the job, which apparently is weird, well according to one of my friends who insists that you only need one watch, as it just tells the time!!! Which got me thinking is there really one watch out there that could work for any occasion, any look, any mood?

Well strangely I think I might have actually found a watch to coordinate with nearly any outfit, excluding a black-tie ball of course, a cool new British watch brand, Shore Projects, which has created a gorgeous and fun collection of timepieces inspired by the seaside.

What is so great about this brand, other than the fact they are British, is that they have created four classic watch faces, all named after seaside resorts, which can easily be transformed with a quick swap of the watch strap. So one day you could wear vibrant yellow, the next girlie pink, then the fun and flirty mint green and then another day could be the gorgeous blue pastel hue. You will never get bored of this brand.

I think the reason this brand works is the classic design of the watch face, I do love large round faces, especially in brushed silver, it really is timeless. My favourite, seen above, is Poole, brushed silver with a white face, Whitstable is the same silver finish but with a black face, and then there are two brushed gold options, Portland with the white and St Ives with the charcoal face.

It is the quick and easy strap mechanism, trust me it takes seconds to change, which makes it easy to do a daily swap on the straps that makes this a brand to watch. I have always loved an element of customisation to my look without actually doing much in the way of DIY and Shore Projects gets that with the eight classic colours to choose from, and then the added bonus of regular additions, I am loving the summer polka dot collection, and I am hoping for some metallic hues for day-to-night vibes in future collections.

Shore Projects watches, which come with one strap cost £85 each, additional straps cost £15 each from the classic collection, and £20 for the polka dot line. I already have my eye on adding the Ocean Blue Polka Dot and the classic Orange straps, I will soon have one for every day of the week!!!

Have you discovered Shore Projects watches? What do you think of changing your watch straps every day?

**Shore Projects gifted me the watch and straps, but I chose the colours, and as always I wouldn’t rave about something I didn’t like**

Introducing: Cred Jewellery

cred-jewellery-braceletThere is something special about jewellery that I love and I think that it is more than just fashion. I find that most of my jewellery is a keepsake with each ring, bracelet, necklace and pair of earrings having their own memories, whether it is who gave it to me, where I wore it, what happened when I wore it, or just how it made me feel, which is generally amazing as I always find added sparkle really does complete my outfit.

I have a lot of jewellery that has been gifted to me, from my fiancé, my mum and even my best friends, but l have to be honest the magpie in me is always looking for new, quirky pieces, interesting brands, and something that will add that something special to my ever-growing stackable jewellery box.

One new brand on my radar, isn’t just pretty but also ethical and Fairtrade, Cred Jewellery. I first discovered this British brand at a press day a few months ago, I fell in love with its collaboration with the amazing Daisy Knight. I basically want it all from the Love Stamp charm bracelet to the Feather Tie bracelet, which is just screaming to be worn at a festival.

Bracelets is what I always check out first with a new jewellery brand, I do love my arm candy, but what surprised me the most about Cred Jewellery is how much it offers from delicate friendship bands to quirky rings, adorable necklaces, and an extensive bridal collection that includes engagement rings, wedding bands and gorgeous pieces for the big day. I am in love with the Aphrodite Collection, I do love the classic nature of  pearls on a bride, and I love that the prices start from £39, making this an ethical and affordable line of jewellery. How cute is that ring.
