I am sure some people will be saying Jean Paul Gaultier for Diet Coke that’s a little strange, but I adore a little strange, and I am loving this cool concept from the drinks brand. As well as starring in three short films for the brand, Gaultier has also been named as Diet Coke’s Creative Director for 2012, which means I get to add to my limited edition Diet Coke bottle collection, I have some that were designed by Karl Lagerfeld, and he will also be overseeing other projects, ad campaigns, and online content over the year. After being utterly bored by the BAFTA red carpet I wasn’t really in the mood to stay up and watch the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, I did however catch-up this morning and I have to be honest there were a lot of hits and twice as many misses – but this is kind of what I expected from the Grammys. I make no secret that Coco Rocha is one of my favourite models, but come on when you see covers like this, surely is has to be everyone’s favourite model. I love this May 2011 ELLE Canada cover shot by Nelson Simoneau, from the amazing Jean Paul Gaultier dress that Coco is wearing to her flirty expression, and then add to that her flawless make-up – this is a gorgeous cover.
I love it when brands do something creative, and I am an avid fan of Brazilian brand Melissa shoes magazine, Plastic. Each issue always has gorgeous editorial spreads, which make me swoon, last issue it was all about Dita Von Teese, and this time around Katy Perry graces the cover but I am afraid that Barbie up-staged her with this glamorous photoshoot. Barbie looks a doll in her designer wear, teaming her gorgeous gowns with tiny plastic shoes from the Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier collaborations. I am not sure if they are just for the shoot, but seriously these would
