My Style: Floral Vibe In The City

Not the best of piccies, I really do need to learn to smile, but after I tweeted what I was wearing on Tuesday I got a lot of comments, so as promise here is my look for my afternoon of press appointments and the Aldo AW11 bash *full post on the party coming up*.

I had already picked out a cute summer dress for my afternoon in London, that was until I opened the curtains and was greeted with a gloomy rainy day, seriously worst June ever!!! So I thought that my trusted skinny flare jeans needed brightening up with my floral vest.

I am conscious of the fact that the top,  jeans, shoes and watch have featured before, but come on who wears things just once, I am keeping it real that my wardrobe maybe vast but I generally stick to what I love.

I like the fact that this floral vest is so versatile and flattering, it has a great print and worked well with the skirt but also looks good with jeans. I paired it with my navy boyfriend cardigan for a casual-smart vibe, while not being too hot as even though the weather was sucky it was still humid.

I find that my personality comes out more in my accessories, so you have my retro pink watch, which I adore, as well as my new Gogo Philip woody heart necklace, and I carried my cobalt blue Rebecca Minkoff *not sure why I didn’t have it with me in the pic*.

To round off my outfit were my trusty Primark brogues, not only are they comfortable but at the moment the only shoes that don’t hurt the top of my feet *don’t ask!*.

Hope it was worth the wait.

Jewellery Loving: Gogo Philip Woody Collection

Jewellery is seriously becoming a bit of an obsession on this blog, but there are so many amazing pieces that I am going to keep on sharing. The spotlight today is on vintage-inspired jewellery label Gogo Philip from Milan. Think luxury costume jewellery with a sense of humour, impeccable style, and at affordable prices.

I was generously sent this gorgeous Wood Heart Necklace in Natural from the new Woody collection, to celebrate the launch of their new and improved Gogo Philip online store. It is such a simply piece that I truly love it, especially as it goes with absolutely everything. Priced at just £8, this necklace also comes in a green, purple, blue or yellow coloured heart.

The rest of the pieces under the Woody line are just as cute; how about this yellow tinted wooden bracelet, £10; or wooden rock ring, £8; or why not go wild with these big thick wooden circle stud earrings, £10.

Trust me scout around on the site as there are trinkets for everyone, with prices starting at £4 for a ring to a one-off piece from the 70′s for £300. Some of my other favourite pieces are: an Egyptian inspired charm gold-plated necklace, £19; gold-plated moustache necklace, £9; and this divine Mignon perfume bottle with floral motif necklace, £17.
