I am loving this graffiti-themed editorial featuring Gisele in the July issue of Vogue Brazil. Shot by Patrick Demarchelier in New York, this editorial is fun and bright, I am loving the neon colours and the clashing prints against the graffiti setting – put all that together with a stunning model like Gisele and it creates such an eye-catching editorial spread. I have updated this blog as the cover has just been released, I not sure why but I am just not as blown away by the cover as I am the editorial spread. Don’t get me wrong, Gisele is stunning, I love the colours,
Do you have a fridge or pinboard filled with inspirational shots of your favourite actresses and models? Well, if you are like me and you do, clear a space now for this hot Gisele cover for Paris Vogue’s summer body special. Shot by Inez & Vinoodh, Gisele Bündchen looks insane on the June/July cover and I have to admit she really is the perfect inspiration to get me to hit the gym!!! Plus do you think that anyone other than Gisele could have pulled off that sand-covered arse? This has to be her hottest cover ever – I love it and
There were a couple of trends at last night’s Met Gala, high shine shimmery gowns, pops of oranges and lemons, feathered beauties and then there were the classic black gowns from the likes of Rihanna, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Liv Tyler, and Mary-Kate Olsen, but one that stood out the most had to be Gisele’s Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Riccardo Tisci. Trust Givenchy to bring a Gothic vibe to the beach, for the spring/summer 2012 campaign, the brand has enlisted its favourite supermodel Gisele to front its dark and stormy advert – it is gorgeous and captures the collection perfectly. Riccardo Tisci described the atmosphere as ‘the expression of a love story between a surfer and a mermaid’ and I think photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott have captured the mood perfectly. At looking at this campaign I have to admit I am asking myself if for SS12 are Givenchy really doing black surfboards? As I could totally get on board with that!!!
Who: Supermodel Gisele Bündchen Where: At the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City Wearing: A red bustier fin tail Alexander Mcqueen gown from the autumn/winter 2005 collection, teamed with a black lace knuckle box clutch from the pre-fall 2011 line and a gorgeous silver cuff Verdict: Wow, what a gown!! I think this could only have been shown off to the max with a supermodel, and Gisele really is my best dressed model of the night, as she looks gorgeous in this striking dress. I love it from the front, but
