I love it when new and emerging actress shine on the red carpet, and this week Felicity Jones did just that for me in this gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana dress, while attending her premiere of Like Crazy in New York.
Not only is the British starlet the first to wear something from the Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2012 collection, she went for the most gorgeous piece, an amazing organza aubergine-print dress. I also adore the cute Dolce & Gabbana 18k yellow gold and ruby earrings they look exquisite on her and do complete this great outfit.
I first noticed Felicity Jones when she stepped out on the BAFTA red carpet wearing the most divine vintage Chanel cocktail dress, it was just exquisite and she really did shine as one of the best dressed on the night. I also loved her in Chalet Girl opposite the hunky Ed Westwick as she played a brilliant snowboard chic girl. And who can forget her first advertising campaign for Burberry, alongside other Brits Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell and Jourdan Dunn – she is the one on the far right if you can’t tell, *seeing this campaign shot makes me want an orange coat so badly!!*
It looks like we are going to be seeing a lot more red carpet action from Felicity as I have checked on IMDB and she has been very busy and 2011 sees her release six movies, which is huge. These aren’t budget flicks either and includes a romantic comedy alongside big names including Maggie Gyllenhaal and Hugh Dancy in Hysteria.
I really can’t wait to see what red carpet looks the promo tours will bring, and I really hope magazines jump on the bandwagon and capture her on an amazing cover and editorial spread soon.
