There is something special about Cannes, maybe even more so than the Oscars, and that’s because everyone gracing the red carpet really does go big, always glamorous, and most importantly very over-the-top. The film festival really does deliver great red carpet magic for nearly 2-weeks, it is pure bliss for someone like me who is obsessed by gorgeous gowns, and the opening day really did set a high standard. As always Cannes attracts all the top actresses, some of my favourite Diane Kruger moments have been in this French Riviera town, I still get goosebumps when I look at this Jason Wu Barbie
Doll Loving: Fan Bingbing Barbie
If ever there was an actress that deserved to be immortalised as a Barbie it is Fan Bingbing, as come on she is already doll-like perfection. I have been blown away by the Chinese star’s red carpet looks since I first saw her at Cannes many years ago, she has this ability to wear dramatic dresses with ease, and I love that she incorporates her own culture into her exquisite looks. Style Crush: Fan Bingbing – Two Events, Two Amazing Louis Vuitton Looks
I have been gushing about Chinese actress Fan Bingbing for a while now, I get particularly excited to see her looks at the Cannes Film Festival and last week I was blown away by her two Louis Vuitton looks while helping the luxury brand celebrate its new flagship store opening in Shanghai. For the flagship opening, Bingbing wore one of my favourite looks from the spring/summer 2012 collection, it was appropriately girlie, quirky and I have to be honest could only work off the runway on her. I love that she worked the pale aqua colour of the dress with
