Who: Emmy Rossum

Where: At the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California

Wearing: A pale pink silk crepe Donna Karan Atelier gown with criss-cross strap detailing, plunging neckline and a slight V open-back, teamed with a beaded clutch and drop earrings

Verdict: This is perfection. I adore everything from the colour, to the over-the-top glamorous train, to the sexy plunging neckline and open back. This is just a wow moment, so elegant, so modern, so beautiful.

There is always something so elegant about Emmy, she has a grace about her on the red carpet that is just so amazing to see. I think most stars would have been a little scared of how much dress there is, there is a lot of drape in that train, but she looks so confident and that adds to the beauty of the look.

As well as loving the gown, I also think her hair and make-up was so divine, I do love a smoky brown eye and her lippie is just the right hue of pink to complement her dress, and I’m so pleased she went for a simple up-do, as this gown does all the talking.

If this is what Donna Karan creates for the Costume Designers Guild Awards imagine what we are going to get at the Oscars.

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Emmy Rossum Has A Princess Moment In Carolina Herrera

Who: Emmy Rossum

Where: At the 18th Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held in Santa Monica, California

Wearing: A navy-blue celestial printed Carolina Herrera gown, featuring an organza overlay, star shaped crystal-embellishments to the nape and at the waist and grosgrain waistband from the pre-fall 2013 collection, teamed with light blue drop earrings

Verdict: This is a breathtaking look from Emmy and as regularly Fashionista Barbie readers will know I do love a ‘Princess’ look and this is it from last night’s Critic’s Choice for me – that celestial printed organza overlay makes this gown heavenly.

If it wasn’t enough that the gown was spectacular I just adore her Old Hollywood wavy locks to the side and those OTT drop earrings – Emmy is simply stunning.

I loved everything about Carolina Herrera’s pre-fall 2013 collection and I am so pleased to see it on the red carpet and I don’t think this will be the last we see from this collection.

Do you love this Princess look as much as I do?

Winter Warmer: One Gerard Darel Coat – Three Celebrities

What do Emmy Rossum, Olivia Wilde and Katherine Heigl all have in common – other than the obvious choice of career? None other than this gorgeous Gerard Darel wool wrap coat – so chic isn’t it. A camel coat is a wardrobe staple, I am still looking to find my perfect match, but I do love the oversized lapels on this wool wrap.

The thing with the neutral camel shade is its versatility, which is shown here with their different looks, both Olivia and Katherine have opted for the casual look teaming the coat with jeans, knee-high boots and of course ever celebs favourite accessory, sunglasses. But for me I think Emmy has capture the elegance of this coat perfectly pairing it with her DKNY resort 2012 fuchsia skirt and top – the pop of colour really does compliment the coat perfectly.

After seeing these snaps I think I am going to have to hunt down my own camel coloured coat.

Buy Their Style: Priced at £435, this Geral Darel wool wrap coat is a great investment piece.

Metropolitan Opera IV: Emmy Rossum an YSL Emerald Beauty

Who: Emmy Rossum

Where: At the Metropolitan Opera Season IV premiere of Rossini’s Le Comte Ory

Wearing: An emerald silk muslin draped Yves Saint Laurent dress from the Edition Soir 2011 collection, with a violet satin belt with multi-coloured crystal embroidery details, finished off with violet heels and an emerald satin clutch

Verdict: Well, first up the colour is divine I love the emerald green with the violet, it really does work perfectly together. This really is a statement dress, and I adore it on Emmy, she has a quiet confidence about her that works this graceful look. Also her bouncy curls and fierce red lippy, really does complete this gorgeous look.
