I am on the hunt at the moment for my wedding gown – I have been scouring wedding magazines, Brides.com’s extensive bridal galleries, and ever real wedding blog I can find to get inspiration on what would work on my big day. It was only earlier this week after seeing Rita Ora hit the red carpet at the ELLE Style Awards that I realised that you can take a lot from the red carpet gowns that your favourite celebrities wear.
Who: actress Emma Watson
Where: At the ELLE Style Awards 2014 held at One Embankment in London
Verdict: I love Emma’s fresh take on red carpet fashion, you can never really predict what she will wear, and I always seem to love her fashion-forward choices. This mini Giambattista Valli is daring, stunning and has a modern glamour about it – I love the contrasting texture of the sequinned bodice with the waist band and the architectural bow skirt.
It is cute, fun and perfect for a young actress like herself and I am so pleased she didn’t over style the look – that skirt doesn’t need anything else to make this outfit shine.
Emma was most certainly my best dressed at this year’s ELLE Style Awards – I love everything about this look.
Are you a fan of Emma’s red carpet style?

Who: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Where: At the ELLE Style Awards 2012 held at The Savoy, London
Wearing: A sheer Antonio Berardi dress with cape detail from the spring/summer 2012 collection, teamed with nude sandals
Verdict: After the disappointment of the BAFTAs I was thrilled at the fashions at the ELLE awards and my best dressed had to be Rosie in this angelic-meets-gladiator vibe dress. I love the sheer and silver-embroidered detailing of this dress – it really does look amazing against her complexion, but for me this dress is made exquisite with the addition of the cape – very ethereal – I LOVE IT!!!
I really don’t think Rosie can do anything wrong, I love her casual looks and her red carpet style just blows me away. It seems everyone at ELLE agrees as Rosie picked up the well deserved Style Icon award.
