The Oscars might be one of the most prestigious nights of the award season, one in which you would expect celebrities to pull out all the stops, however, it seems that the best fashion seems to nearly always happen at the Oscars 2016 After Party, namely the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. I’ve picked out my six best looks from Diane Kruger in a sexy sheer and fringed Reem Acra gown to Kerry Washington who changed out of her leather Atelier Versace look into a daring, racier gown, Nina Dobrev in the prettiest Elie Saab number and Elizabeth Banks in a beautiful caped
The Golden Globes kicked off the award season last week and this weekend was the Critics’ Choice Awards turn, and for me, the red carpet was a battle of who wore burgundy better between – Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab and Krysten Ritter in Zuhair Murad. The film festival really does deliver great red carpet magic for nearly 2-weeks, it is pure bliss for someone like me who is obsessed by gorgeous gowns, and the opening day really did set a high standard. As always Cannes attracts all the top actresses, some of my favourite Diane Kruger moments have been in this French Riviera town, I still get goosebumps when I look at this Jason Wu Barbie
Who: Actress Salma Hayek Where: At the world premiere of ‘The Prophet’ in Beirut, an animated movie that she co-produced.
Who: Emma Stone Where: At the 87th Annual Academy Awards held at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, California Wearing: A custom long-sleeve beaded chartreuse Elie Saab gown embroidered with guipure and sequins, featuring an open back and a thigh-high slit, paired with matching green heels and a Tiffany & Co. cuff Verdict: Emma Stone made us wait for her red carpet appearance tonight, but it was so worth it. The colour was different, this shade of green doesn’t often hit the red carpet, and I think this may be Elie Saab’s best Oscar moment since Halle Berry. For some on my Twitter
