Jaeger-LeCoultre Opening: Diane Kruger In Jason Wu

Where: At the Jaeger-LeCoultre Vendome Boutique opening in Paris

Wearing: A blackless navy lace Jason Wu jumpsuit with a black belt hot off the spring/summer 2013 catwalk, teamed with black Giuseppe Zanotti heels and of course a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch

Verdict: Wow, wow, wow – what a jumpsuit. I love everything about this look from the navy colour to the lace-luxe, to the gorgeous tailored silhouette of the jumpsuit, but most of all I adore her retro 40s-inspired hairdo and red lips.

I love how Diane can channel old-Hollywood glamour so perfectly, this look is another reason I seriously crush on this girl, she always seems to get it right on the red carpet and she makes it seem easy to rock a jumpsuit, which most of us over the size of 8 will no isn’t.

Jumpsuits have had a lot of attention this year on the red carpet, Kristen Stewart was just seen in a peek-a-boo lace jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad on her Twilight tour, Emma Stone wore a glitzy Elie Saab tuxedo-style jumpsuit to the London premiere of Spider-Man, Elizabeth Banks rocked a black jumpsuit to the MTV Movie Awards, and at the start of the year Rose Byrne put herself in the spotlight in a vintage white embroidered Elie Saab beauty with a deep v-neck at the SAG Awards. All amazing looks.

It doesn’t matter how many times I see a jumpsuit on the red carpet I adore it just the same, but I am putting this navy lace number by Jason Wu right to the top of my best dressed jumpsuits as I love how glamorous it looks on Diane.

Cover Loving: Diane Kruger Rocks Azzedine Alaïa

I am going to apologise in advance for my gushing, but I just can’t help it when I see Diane Kruger looking so incredibly gorgeous!!!

What makes a great magazine cover for me comes down to a number of things – first the styling, are the clothes sold to me, secondly how much does the cover stands out in the crowd, and finally do I want to be that cover star – granted there are other factors but I have to give it to Marie Claire France this November cover ticks all those points and more.

What surprises me the most is that normally I am not too keen on animal print but this Azzedine Alaïa leopard print trench coat is divine and seeing it on Diane is really making me want/need it, or more realistically something similar in my life!!!

Shot by Marcel Hartmann, this is one gorgeous cover and editorial spread, everything from the striking trench coat to her pose and messy hair draws me in, and I love the ‘Lady Diane’ headline in the accompanying editorial. I have to be honest as soon as I saw it I instantly sent a message to my boyfriends parents to pick it up as they live in France – I can’t wait to see it in print.

Toronto Film Festival: Diane Kruger In Valentino

Who: Diane Kruger

Where: At the ‘Inescapable’ premiere at the Roy Thomson Hall held during the Toronto Film Festival

Wearing: A gold and jet black embroidered Valentino dress from the autumn/winter 2012 couture collection, teamed with a black clutch, and black pointy heels

Verdict: I don’t think my love affair with Diane Kruger is going away any time soon, every time I see her hit the red carpet I absolutely love her look. For me she makes looking stylish effortless and I love how she always brings out her own personality in her looks, of course her beauty helps, but I can’t help own up to the fact that I totally have a style crush on her.

This Valentino look is as stunning – she looks incredible in it and the black and gold embroidery is exquisite. I am not keen on the fur-lined bodice, I not sure the dress really needed it, but the silhouette of the dress with the high waist and gathered split to the side does make this dress glamorous.

What does stand out for me the most with this look is her flawless make-up and gorgeous hair – I love the top knot it is works perfectly with this dress.

Video Loving: Battle Of The Fragrance Blondes

I have never noticed before until both Gucci and Hugo Boss unveiled their latest fragrance faces that blondes obviously smell better as well as having more fun!!! This week both luxury labels released their short films and both it seems went for a old school Hollywood glamour, Veronica Lake-inspired waves, a room with a view, as well as the trademark sexy walk and the alluring spray shots.

Even if you aren’t that keen on Blake Lively or Gwyneth Paltrow, I don’t think you can deny how amazing they both look in these ads, and I find it staggering that there is a 15 year age gap. Seriously is Gwynnie getting younger?

But striking looks aside in the battle for the best blonde I am going to have to give it to Blake and her Gucci ad, not only does she look stunning in a gold sequin Gucci gown, but it just feels more special and memorable – maybe it is all the gold, very Olympian of them, or maybe it is the historic setting of the Goldstein Residence – but for me this just feels more opulent.

The Hugo Boss ad I think suffers from bad timing, if it didn’t come out at the same time as Gucci’s maybe I would have thought differently about it – but for me it just feels flat. Gwyneth looks stunning in her one-shoulder Hugo Boss dress, but I felt a little weird watching her getting ready – I don’t know it just doesn’t sparkle.

But seeing both Blake and Gwyneth it made me wonder what other famous blondes have rocked a fragrance campaign – and just with a quick spell of research it seems a lot!!! All the big names from Dior to Chanel and Calvin Klein have all gone for a blonde in recent years - literally everyone from Diane Kruger to Scarlett Johannsson and even Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman owned their scents with blonde locks.

I know I am going to get a comment that Keira Knightley is working her brunette hair in a Chanel fragrance campaign and Kristen Stewart was just unveiled by Balenciaga – but come on you know what I am getting at – a high percentage of fragrances seem to be fronted by blondes – I just found that interesting.

So who rocked their blonde locks better for you – Blake or Gwyneth?

Yayoi Kusama Whitney Opening: Diane Kruger & Joshua Jackson In Louis Vuitton

Who: Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger

Where: At the opening of Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition at the Whitney Museum in New York City hosted by Louis Vuitton and W Magazine

Wearing: Diane went for a pajama-inspired look with a full runway to red carpet look from Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2013 collection, working a lilac floor-length dress under a navy-trimmed, brown belted jacket, and finishing off her look with gold accessories.

Looking just as chic was Joshua in a dapper tri-tone two-button Louis Vuitton suit from the autumn/winter 2012 collection.

Verdict: Wow, they really are going for the hottest couple in Hollywood award, forget Angie and Brad – for me Joshua and Diane are perfection together on the red carpet.

I adore Diane’s unconventional look, the addition of the jacket is a little different – but I have to be honest I would love to see that floor-length gown in all its glory. For me, this look is all about the finishing touches – the flawless make-up, the gorgeous hair, the adorable gold chain strap minaudière, and of course the best accessory the hunky coordinated man on her arm.

I love Joshua’s suit with its contrasting shades – the charcoal works perfectly with the navy lapels and I am loving his rugged look with the stubble – HOT!!!

Is there any couple in Hollywood that could compete with Diane and Joshua?

Jacob & Co Charity Gala: Diane Kruger In Marchesa

Who: Diane Kruger

Where: At Jacob & Co’s charity gala held at the Salle Empire, Hotel de Paris in Monte-Carlo, Monaco

Wearing: A white column Marchesa gown featuring feathers on the sleeves and waist and gold embroidery embellishments to the bust from the Resort 2013 collection, teamed with Jacob & Co. diamond drop earrings, a cushion cut diamond ring and diamond cuff bracelet

Verdict: Wow, what a beauty Diane Kruger is, my crush is going into serious overdrive after seeing this look. I think if you saw this dress on anyone else with all those feathers it might have been a touch OTT, but on Diane this show-stopping gorgeous gown just looks perfection.

I love that the fact that she wore her hair pulled tightly up, it allowed the dress to shine as well as those incredible drop earrings.

Cannes 2012: Diane Kruger In Dior Couture

Who: Diane Kruger

Where: At the Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony and ‘Therese Desqueyroux’ premiere

Wearing: A black and white checkered silk Christian Dior Haute Couture gown with lace embroidered detailing, from the spring/summer 2012 collection, teamed with diamond earrings

Verdict: For the past 12 days I have been in awe at Diane Kruger’s style choices, all stunning, all different, and this Dior is perfection and is a great way to finish her duties as a Cannes Film Festival juror.

I am not going to say this is my favourite of all her looks, it is close, I love the drama of the gown, it works perfectly at Cannes. What I absolutely adore as with all her looks is her flawless make-up and hair, it may only be a simply ponytail but the simply approach with a gown like this is the way to go, she looks gorgeous.

It is going to be hard to choose my favourite of her looks.
