Cover Loving: Crystal Renn For Vogue Mexico

Wow, what a great cover of Crystal Renn for Vogue Mexico, this has definitely added this Latin magazine to my huge stack of international mags. Not only is the cover striking, don’t you think it radiates heat?

Am I being silly because as all it has done here in the UK is rain – but don’t you think the combination of that vibrant Salvatore Ferragamo printed dress from the spring/summer 2012 collection, teamed with the bold accessories and her fabulous pose makes this one hot cover?

Snapped by Nagi Sakai, the accompanying editorial is just as strong as the cover, I am loving all the Prada, Miu Miu, and Dolce & Gabbana – the styling from Sarah Gore-Reeves is exquisite.

The one thing I am worried about is that everyone will just be talking about how slim Crystal has gotten rather than what an absolutely fantastic model she is – I can’t imagine anyone not loving this editorial spread I am in need of some sun after looking at it!!!

Do you think Crystal wore this Prada playsuit better than Jennifer Lawrence who wore it on the cover of Glamour recently?

SS11 Campaign: Jimmy Choo Casts Crystal Renn

Crystal Renn certainly did seem to be everywhere in 2010 for either being a plus sized model or conforming to the modelling industry and slimming down, with this campaign I reckon 2011 might be just about her modelling talent *her’s hoping*.

Fashion photographers Inez & Vinoodh shot this spring campaign for footwear giants Jimmy Choo under the creative direction of Tamara Mellon  in New York last October.

It is refreshing to see a few curves on a high-end campaign, and I love that they’ve moved away from the stuck-up-rich-girl theme as the colour blocking is fresh and fun, and I am already obsessing about that tribal-print clutch.
