Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Amy Adams Wears Barbie Pink

Who: Amy Adams

Where: At the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica

Wearing: A vibrant pink Roland Mouret ‘Tinea’ gown, featuring a draped neckline, from the pre-autumn/winter 2014 collection, teamed with a black grosgrain ribbon nipping in her waist and Neil Lane jewellery

Verdict: It is so nice to see such a vibrant colour on the red carpet, as well as Roland Mouret who just designs the most stunning of gowns and this one is exquisite. Called the ‘Tinea’, I love how sexy this dress is without being revealing, it has a touch of Old Hollywood about it with the draped neckline and streamlined silhouette, and I just adore how it falls of her shoulders.

I thought Amy looked stunning in Valentino Couture at the Golden Globes, I actually preferred the look complete with the cape, however this look for me is just utterly breathtaking and divine.

It it wasn’t for Lupita Nyong’o, Amy would have been my best dressed – I can’t wait to see what she does for the rest of the award season.

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Emily Blunt In Miu Miu

Who: Emily Blunt, who lost out to Jennifer Lawrence in the Best Actress in an Action Film category

Where: At the 18th Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held in Santa Monica, California

Wearing: A white Miu Miu dress that fell at the ankles featuring a crystal-embellished neckline and cross-back straps, teamed with a gold box clutch and Prada metallic heels

Verdict: Known for her simple-yet-stunning looks on the red carpet, do you remember that vibrant Alexander McQueen last year, well this another gorgeous dress that is made into a show-stopping number as soon as you see the back, like with Jessica Chastain’s Prada gown.

I love that this dress fell at her ankle as it added a different dimension to the gown and stood out on the red carpet, plus it totally worked perfectly with her Old Hollywood glamour with her striking lippy and pin curls.

Like the dress Emily is simply gorgeous.

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Amanda Seyfried In Marios Schwab

Who: Amanda Seyfried

Where: At the 18th Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held in Santa Monica, California

Wearing: A cobalt blue Marios Schwab midi dress, featuring an embellished lace bodice and chiffon skirt from the spring/summer 2013 collection, teamed with Roger Vivier heels and Lorraine Schwartz earrings

Verdict: Not only are London Fashion Week designers having a red carpet moment in Hollywood this week with Simone Rocha, Peter Pilotto and Julien Macdonald designs being showcased at the People’s Choice Awards this week, but Amanda seems to love London-based designers having worn Alexander McQueen a number of times during the promo tour for Les Misérables.

This look is one of the most fashion-forward dresses on the red carpet last night, I wouldn’t say it was my favourite of the night but I do like that she isn’t afraid to take style risks. I love the colour and the detailing to the bodice, but I would have loved for it to be floor-length, the diamond-shaped hemline doesn’t work for me.

What I do absolutely love is her hair and make-up, from the glossy top-knot to the cat-eyes and nude lips – simply gorgeous.

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Jaime King In Jason Wu

Who: Jaime King

Where: At the 18th Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held in Santa Monica, California

Wearing: A strappy black embellished Jason Wu gown featuring a plunging neckline and a sheer skirt with a central split, teamed with a coordinated Jason Wu belt, Christian Louboutin heels, a gold-lined minaudiere, and black and gold jewellery

Verdict: Channelling Old Hollywood was definitely the biggest trend from last night’s Critics’s Choice awards, whereas the others seem to be romantic and feminine I love that Jamie went for an edgy and vampish take on the trend.

This was probably one of the sexiest looks of the night, I love the central split in the sheer skirt, it just makes her legs look like they go on for miles. I am also a big fan of the black and gold combination and this look really grabbed my attention.
