Versace SoHo Boutique: Melissa George In Versace

Who: Former Home & Away and Alias star Melissa George

Where: At a cocktail party hosted by Donatella Versace for the opening of the new Versace SoHo boutique in New York

Wearing: A black Versace skirt with cross details paired with a black knit top, a black Versace trench coat, velvet Versace heels, gold accessories and a cute black studded clutch

Verdict: Wow, Melissa George is looking stunning here in head-to-toe Versace. I love everything about this moody look – but the stand-out piece has to be the trench coat draped over her shoulders – seriously hot!!!

Who would have thought that the former Aussie soap star could pull off a fierce rock chick vibe? I have to be honest I am blown away by her look – she was definitely my best dressed out of the stellar celeb crowd that included models galore *see below*, as well as Alexa Chung, Jennifer Hudson, and Helena Mattsson.

Of course it couldn’t be a Versace party without a host of models – there were a lot from Tali Lennox to Leigh Lezark, and even one of the original supermodels Linda Evangelista was in the house, but my three favourite model looks has to go to Doutzen Kroes, Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova.

Doutzen wore a gorgeous black Versace coat with flared skirt covered entirely in Swarovski crystals from the autumn/winter 2012 collection; Coco went for the Versace’s little black dress with metallic detailing also from the autumn/winter 2012 collection; and Karolina looked divine in a black leather Versace bomber jacket with intricate floral detailing teamed with the matching pencil skirt.

Do you rate Melissa’s look? And which model gets your vote?

Cover Loving: Coco Rocha’s Four September Issues

It seems that the model with a thousand poses has snag not one but four September covers and each one of Coco Rocha is utterly different and memorising at the same time. I have gushed before about how much I love Coco, granted she isn’t a bombshell model like Gisele or Karolina Kurkova, or as cool as say Kate Moss, and she doesn’t seem to grace as many campaigns as say Karlie Kloss, but there is something so special and different about her that always makes me takes notice and I am loving her September covers.

I feel like I am on the panel of America’s Next Top Model or something but seriously the first thing you see from all the covers has to be her eyes closely following by her stunning bone structure. Her beautiful features come across beautifully on her cover for VS Magazine shot by Ellen Von Unwerth as well as her upwards gaze on the debut issue of Flair Germany snapped by Arnaud Pyvka. But my two favourite have to be her ELLE covers, both working the red autumn trend.

I going to have to give it to ELLE Korea, Coco looks stunning in her Louis Vuitton dress and sharp bob. But I can’t wait to pick up Elle Espana as apparently Coco has shot the entire magazine, not just the cover, all four editorials inside – now that is model power!!!

So which Coco cover do you prefer?

Met Gala 2012: Coco Rocha Goes Vintage Givenchy

Who: Coco Rocha

Where: At the 2012 Met Gala in New York

Wearing: A vintage yellow and fuchsia Givenchy jumpsuit, paired with Sergio Rossi pink heels and a gold clutch

Verdict: Well Coco bought this vintage Givenchy beauty at auction and as it once belong to Elizabeth Taylor the biggest fashion event of the year was the perfect place to show it off. What I love about Coco is that she went all out for this look even dying her hair pink at the tips to make this one standout outfit.

I am not sure if it wows as much as all the gorgeous gowns, but I do appreciate it when people try different things on the red carpet.

Coco has tweeted that this jumpsuit is now going into storage, I suppose she is right where else could you wear something as bold as this?
