I have many girl crushes, from Diane Kruger, Jennifer Lawrence to Chinese actress Fan Bingbing for their incredible red carpet style, Olivia Palermo because mainly I want everything in her wardrobe, and even fictional character Carrie Bradshaw, the latest addition to the list has to be Kerry Washington.
Over the past year or so, Kerry has really upped her fashion credentials for me, making me take notice when she hits the red carpet, I have loved so many but these Donna Karan, Rodarte, Giambattista Valli and Louis Vuitton looks are some of my favourites.
Her latest editorial shoot for Vanity Fair’s August issue is another highlight, entitled ‘Scandal’s First Lady’, the spread captured by Norman Jean Roy and styled by Jessica Diehl features some amazing looks. From the Lanvin bodysuit on the cover to the peddle-dashed Armani gown that blends in with the stairs, the futuristic Burberry Prorsum dress, and the sexy black Versace and Donna Karan New York looks. It is one hot editorial.
I love this editorial so much I wish that Vanity Fair would have used Kerry for their September issue – as if this was just for August imagine what the biggest issue of the year would have looked like!!!
Have you watched Scandal yet? I stupidly missed the first season when it aired in the UK so I am attempting to find the time to catch-up at the moment, but my friends have raved about it because of how brilliant Kerry is in it.
Are you a fan of Kerry Washington? And will you be buying this month’s Vanity Fair?

Who: Keira Knightley
Where: At a screening of her new film, A Dangerous Method in London earlier this week
Wearing: A burgundy Burberry Prorsum gown with keyhole detail, an open back and black bow belt from the pre-fall 2012 collection, teamed with a Chanel quilted clutch and a black ring
Verdict: As always Keira really does bring an elegance and sophistication to the red carpet. What I love about this understated gown has to be the winter hue of the dress, there has been a lot of white, nudes and brights on the red carpet but it is always nice to see rich tones on floor-skimming gowns. A great return to the red carpet – can’t wait to see her styling on her promotional tour.
This blog is generally all about things I love, whether it is fashion or Barbie, or my stationary addiction, if you read enough it is generally a personal diary of everything I’m a fan of, and Britney Spears is one thing I adore.
OK, she has been through low times, the head-shaving instance was definitely not a great hair day, but come everyone has to see how talented she is, and oh boy has she brought it for her latest music video for new single, Till the World Ends.
In terms of my fav Britney Spears video this has to be fairly high. I love Toxic – come on Britney as an airstewardess is amazing, and Hit Me Baby One More Time – mainly because she looks so young, and I also have a soft spot for I Love Rock n Roll – that one is seriously all about the motorcycle. Well this one maybe a little similar to Slave 4 U *see my friend Carina’s post Britney Spears – Slave Till the World Ends*, but I don’t care – I am loving Brits apocalyptic version of December 2012.
But it isn’t just about the song, or even the choreography, the fashion is always a focal point with any Britney video. Whether it is a school uniform, a red all-in-one PVC jumpsuit, or a see-through sequined body stocking. The fashion focal for me in this video, has to be this Burberry Prorsum studded and spiked leather jacket *below*, from the spring/summer 2011 collection. A gorgeous biker jacket, and could be yours for only £3,995 at Net-A-Porter.com, I know bargain right!!
I love this song, I love this video – watch the full video below, and I am so excited for version two featuring Britney’s choreography!

Who: Rachel Bilson
Where: At the Los Angeles Premiere of Waiting For Forever held at the Pacific Theatres at The Grove
Wearing: A grey ruffled Burberry Prorsum halter dress with leather details, teamed with an amazing quilted leather biker jacket, both from the spring/summer 2011 collection, and finished off nicely with a Burberry studded leather clutch
Verdict: I love everything about this look from Rachel, the dress is cute but with an edgy feel with the added leather detailing, and then teaming it with that jacket – it is to-die-for!!
I also so pleased that she had her hair cut – divine red carpet look from Rachel.

For the Burberry Prorsum autumn/winter 2011 pre-collection, it seems that Christopher Bailey is done with the rock n roll vibe of his SS11 show, and decided that AW11 would be the time for a luxe feel. This collection continues to play with prints, and there are also a lot more red carpet style floor skimming dresses in this collection than past seasons, which I can see the likes of Emma Watson, Daisy Lowe, Nicole Richie and would love to see Leighton Meester in this blue tortoise-shell print dress with pleated skirt below – divine!!
Pic: Burberry - Leighton please give it a whirl!

I was also happy to see the leg lengthening super skinny flares, OK not for everyone but I do love flared trousers and this moss green tweed suit is gorgeous.

The luxe feel continued throughout with bejewelled detailing, fur trims *always go for faux peeps* which were teamed with dresses, and they are also detachable to add some fun into your looks, and it seems we will all be nipping in our waist as most looks came with tied wrapped belts.
My favourite piece has to be this bejewelled navy trench – gorgeous!!
