Verdict: Other than the Disney Premiere when Penelope wore that gorgeous black Marchesa, this is my favourite look from her European promo tour so far. I always feel that Marchesa add something extra to their red carpet looks but this is a divine dress that looks like it was designed especially for Penelope. It is hugging her in all the right places, and the colour is just perfection against her skin tone. She really is beautiful.
Where: At the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides photocall at the Palais des Festivals during the 64th Cannes Film Festival
Wearing: A navy form-fitted Stella McCartney dress from the autumn/winter 2011 collection, with a velvet skirt and teamed with navy heels
Verdict: I always love dresses that fall just below-the-knee, and navy blue makes it perfection for me. This is a perfect look for a photocall, and Stella McCartney is one of the best choices to go for, it really does show how amazing Penelope’s body is. Great look and I am so glad that she kept her hair down.
Where: At the première of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in Moscow
Wearing: A knee-length black velvet embroidered Emilio Pucci dress from the autumn/winter 2011 collection, with long sleeves and bow detailing
Verdict: This is one statement dress, normally I wouldn’t like this but Penelope oozes just enough attitude for this dress to shine. I know some will say that this is a boring look for a premiere, but I love the drama of the high neck, large bow and velvet. I like it.
Where: At the UK Premiere of Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at Vue Westfield
Wearing: A white embroidered Givenchy Couture gown from the autumn/winter 2011 collection, with exposed zip detailing to the front
Verdict: At first glance I wasn’t sure about this look. There is no question that she is looking fabulous post-baby, but I just wasn’t sure if
Where: At the Pirates of the Caribbean 4 Premiere in Munich, Germany
Wearing: A custom fitted red organza Giorgio Armani Privé gown with long-sleeves
Verdict: What a beauty!! I loved Anne Hathaway when she wore a similar Armani gown in sapphire satin, but this red is just perfection and looks amazing on Penelope. Simply gorgeous.
