Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Diane Kruger In Donna Karan Atelier

I wasn’t going to bother doing a play-by-play look at the Vanity Fair red carpet, **the Oscars red carpet was a little disappointing this year**well that was until I heard that Diane Kruger was to wear custom Donna Karan Atelier, and as soon as I saw the hybrid dress-come-jumpsuit creation I knew that I couldn’t not share it – just look how amazing it is!!!

I had been looking forward to a gorgeous Donna Karan Atelier gown on the Oscars red carpet, especially after seeing what the designer created for Emmy Rossum at the Costume Designers Guild Awards but sadly it wasn’t meant to be, but now I know it is because the designer was busy working on this beauty for Diane Kruger.

OK, so this hybrid look, of a dress, cape and jumpsuit is nothing new, we’ve all seen Emma Watson and Emma Stone pull off great choices, but just look at the incredible construction of this jumpsuit with its asymmetrical neckline with the cape flowing beautifully over the one-shoulder. The draping to the front is perfectly placed, it is tailored to perfection, and I love, love, love the vibrant colour on her.

As well as the outfit I basically loved everything else about this look from the uber-cool Anya Hindmarch ‘Pencil Case’ clutch, going to put it out there I want something graffiti with Anya stickers, to her chic Jimmy Choo ‘Minnie’ sandals, and as always her hair and make-up was also flawless – love the ponytail and the matte red lips.

Diane Kruger for me is always simply, gorgeous!!!

My Style: Stripes & Tiny Tim

My outfits are normally pretty safe, I like jeans, jumpers, ankle boots, the occasional flared skirt, leather pencil skirt, and dress, as well as statement jewellery and a great handbag – so I never thought that I would buy or wear stripy jeans!!!

I bought these beauties at the Donna Ida pop-up at Cheshire Oaks, not only were they a bargain down from £150 to £25, but Donna herself convinced me to try them on and to be honest who am I to argue with the Queen of Denim.

When I saw them I loved them, the mint colour is just amazing, but I instantly thought I could not only pull them off but my chunky thighs would look even bigger – what surprised me the most is how they are actually flattering and slimming.

To tone down the stripes and to make it more me I decided to pair them with lots of black – a chunky jumper, cut-out boots and my new Anya Hindmarch ‘Tiny Tim’ handbag, which granted doesn’t hold a lot but is oh so pretty.

Considering I was pretty nervous about rocking these jeans once on I felt amazing and I think I pulled them off by keeping the styling simple. I can’t wait for summery weather as they would look great with a black tee and strappy black heels.

How would you style these stripped beauties?

Bag Lust: Anya Hindmarch Is Out Of This World

Regular readers will know that I go weak at the knees for a great handbag, they are my thing to collect, well after Barbie, and I have every single one of Anya Hindmarch’s Out of this World collection for spring/summer 2014 on my wishlist.

Featuring some of the designer’s best-loved styles, the SS14 collection has been given a colourful makeover – with shimmering metallics, vibrant yellows, exotic-coloured skins, and the most fabulous contrasting oversized tassels that kind of looked like they should be holding back curtains.

I am a huge fan of Anya’s tote’s, the yellow beauty with a sky blue tassel was one of my favourites, but I just adored the Area 51 vintage vibe UFO prints on the clutches and the ‘Roslyn’ evening bag. I also had a soft spot for the smiley face logo tote with “Have a nice Day. Thank you!” on it and the matchbox clutches.

I recently added a cute Anya Hindmarch bag to my collection called the Tiny Tim, I promise to show you this little beauty soon, but I am already lusting over my next purchase and I think it might have to be one of the Maxi Zip satchels.

Are you a fan of Anya Hindmarch?

Gambit Premiere: Cameron Diaz In Stella McCartney

Who: Cameron Diaz

Where: At the world premiere of her new film, Gambit at Empire Leicester Square, London

Wearing: A black and ivory satin Stella McCartney cocktail dress with a plunging neckline, teamed with skinny black ankle strap heels, a black-and-gold Tom Binns diamond cuff, and a satin Anya Hindmarch black clutch

Verdict: First up, Cameron gets extra points for wearing this gorgeous dress on a November night in London, she must have been freezing. I love the simply-yet-sexy vibe of this dress that fits her perfectly. I love the length, falling just above her knee is chic, and I adore the hidden pockets, but for me this dress is all about the plunging v-neck – wow, wow, wow!!!

Cameron talks in the latest issue of ELLE how she is friends with Stella McCartney and how much she admires the designer, well her friend came through for her as this dress is stunning – a great red carpet look.

What do you think of Cameron’s look?

Shop Her Style: Cheryl Cole In Wildfox Couture

Who: Cheryl Cole

Where: Travelling to Los Angeles

Wearing: A red and white bone print ‘Caveman’ baggy Wildfox Couture jumper, jeans, a furry hat and carrying an Anya Hindmarch printed ‘Headline’ canvas shopper

Verdict: I quite like Chezza’s airport chic, always jeans or leggings, always a stylish bag, and there always has to be something furry!!! What I love about this look other than the fun jumper has to be the ‘Corgi Eats Queen’s Handbag’ tote – LOVE it!!!

Buy Her Style: Love the shopper as much as I do? Well get on Net-a-Porter as this tongue-in-cheek bag is exclusive to them and isn’t too pricey for a designer bag at £165.

More of a baggy jumper type of gal? Well the Caveman could be yours for £97 – buy in Free Love Red as seen here or how about Dirty Black.
