Who: Strictly Come Dancing star and former Eastenders actress Kara Tointon
Where: At the 36th Olivier Awards with MasterCard held at the Royal Opera House, London
Wearing: A black and nude Alice + Olivia Minka dress with black sequins sewn in an Art Deco-inspired fanned motif, which fell below the knee, tamed with nude Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels and Garrard jewels
Verdict: It may have been Ruth Wilson’s night, but for me Kara Tointon stole the show in this gorgeous 20s inspired flapper dress, everything from the fanned sequins to her Jazz-inspired Marcel wave hairstyle and her dusky pink lippy, this is one stand-out look for Kara.
There is an uber-glam feel about this dress that I didn’t expect to see on Kara, but I am so glad she did work something a little different to the awards as she really did shine. Plus how amazing does she look, this is one super slinky shift dress and it fits her perfectly, her curves seem to have disappeared.
Do you like this dress as much as I do?
