I have been wanting to share this Glamour UK February cover all week, I have been crazy, but it is worth waiting for as it has such fun and quirky styling.
This a fun new look for Abbey Clancy *a stark contrast to her WAG status*, and she looks amazing in this Giles jumper. I know she did Giles Deacon’s show in September but come on Abbey is more lads mag than fashion rag isn’t she? But hey, so nice to see Giles on the cover!!
After two seasons showing in Paris, I was excited to see what Giles Deacon had for his return to London, of course I wasn’t important enough to get tickets to this show *praying for next season already*, but hey that it was YouTube is for!!
The collection had a lot going on, 90s trash colours, 70s inspired knitted tops, flared trousers, a-line skirts, 80s PacMan knits, prom dresses, wrap dresses and mini skirts. Generally this collection had everything including the weird drag queen make-up, celebrity models in the form of recently pregnant Abbey Clancy and Kelly Brook, and closed with veteran German model Veruschka. The strangest thing though had to be why anyone would let Kerry Katona sit front row!!
But the stand out pieces had to be anything with a quirky prints on it, from eyeballs and flowers to bows and crossed plasters and poker dots. Kinda out there but I liked it.
