Today, was the best remedy for such a shocking week, a day spent exploring Cambridge with friends, it was just such a fun and enjoyable day. We didn’t do anything too strenuous except walk for miles, we took in the sites, admired the architecture, took lots of photographs, climbed a tower, chuckled at people attempting to punt, and finished off the day with the best afternoon tea I have had in years. Thanks Harriet’s for finishing off a fab day.
Tonight I had the pleasure of attending an exclusive dinner with Windows UK at The Paramount, which is located at the summit of the Centre Point, and it had the most incredible views of London, granted my BB snap doesn’t do it justice but it was amazing. I was invited by Microsoft with a selection of fashion bloggers to see their spring/summer 2012 collection, crazy right that even technology companies are working the fashion calendar, but the collection features all the new laptop releases. I instantly fell in love with the décor, the quirky art stencils, the retro pieces, and the mismatched furniture. Everything about this cafe was super inviting and a great place to catch up with friends, and was also very baby
Last week when it seemed a small majority of Londoners were intent on destroying the city, I discovered another reason why I love London, with the discovery of the amazing Drink, Shop & Do near Kings Cross. Located in an old Victorian bathhouse, this cool shop-cum-cafe-cum-crafty place is the perfect place to hang out with friends, enjoy a milkshake, pick up a few bits in the shop, or even try out a new craft. What I can’t believe is that I hadn’t been to this cute place before, apparently all bloggers know about it except me it seems!! The design
