Tonight I had the pleasure of attending an exclusive dinner with Windows UK at The Paramount, which is located at the summit of the Centre Point, and it had the most incredible views of London, granted my BB snap doesn’t do it justice but it was amazing. I was invited by Microsoft with a selection of fashion bloggers to see their spring/summer 2012 collection, crazy right that even technology companies are working the fashion calendar, but the collection features all the new laptop releases. The night was fun and we even got into a discussion on what Microsoft could do to make
Brunch is becoming my favourite meal, much more than just breakfast, brunch has the goodness of brekkie but the fun of lunch, and in my eyes always needs to include maple syrup!!! My new favourite brunch spot is Bill’s in Cambridge, well any Bill’s actually, but Cambridge is pretty nice. Come on admit it my French toast with fruit, maple syrup, yoghurt and nuts is making you pretty hungry!!!
I do love weekend’s catching up with friends, even more so when I get to go down to Bournemouth, as each time we find somewhere different to eat. This weekend was all about visiting our new God Son Sebbie, who couldn’t be more adorable, and we decided to do brunch at the quirky cafe Cheese & Alfies in the centre of Christchurch. I instantly fell in love with the décor, the quirky art stencils, the retro pieces, and the mismatched furniture. Everything about this cafe was super inviting and a great place to catch up with friends, and was also very baby
Last week when it seemed a small majority of Londoners were intent on destroying the city, I discovered another reason why I love London, with the discovery of the amazing Drink, Shop & Do near Kings Cross. Located in an old Victorian bathhouse, this cool shop-cum-cafe-cum-crafty place is the perfect place to hang out with friends, enjoy a milkshake, pick up a few bits in the shop, or even try out a new craft. What I can’t believe is that I hadn’t been to this cute place before, apparently all bloggers know about it except me it seems!! The design
I have heard the rumours that legendary California frozen yoghurt goodness, Pinkberry, was coming to London but I didn’t quite believe it until I tasted it as the Selfridges Christmas in July press day last week. Girlies get your diaries out, the very first Pinkberry shop is opening in the Foodhall in Selfridges on August 3, and it seriously couldn’t come soon enough for me. I still remember my first Pinkberry experience when I was in Los Angeles a few years back, and I can’t wait to treat myself when I need a California pick-me-up! If you haven’t tasted Pinkberry, or have
