The stars came out to play last night in the height of the awards and party season to support the 3rd Annual Art Of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala Event in Beverly Hills. At the charity bash on Wilshire Blvd, Kirsten Dunst was awarded the Spirit of Elysium award in recognition of her endless dedication and support to The Art of Elysium. For me there were some great fashion statements made, maybe due to it being a charity gala the celebs brought more personality than they do for award shows. Check out my favourite outfits of the night: Stunning beauty Dita Von Teese
Twilight actress Ashley Greene looked stunning at the InStyle’s 9th Annual Awards Season Diamond Fashion Show Preview at the Beverly Hills Hotel this week. Wearing a cream sleeveless dress with pleated bodice and draped skirt from the J. Mendel Pre-Fall 2010 collection she really shined. I also love the half-up-half down hair, simple yet slick, and the dress is elegant and the co-ordinated clutch is sleek.
May be new to the Hollywood scene, Irish teenage actress Saoirse Ronan, but she certainly didn’t shy away from the red carpet at the Critics’ Choice Awards last night. The Lovely Bones star dressed in a multicoloured print dress scooped the Best Young Actor for her role in the movie. I love the fact she dressed her young age, she remembered that she is only 15-years-old, and the cute print frock with gold boots really works for her. It looks like it is beaded sequins – and the gold accents in the dress really bring out the colours. Fab dress!!
British fashion designer Jenny Packham dresses shined on the red carpet last night at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Nashville sweetheart Taylor Swift looked stunning in this white tube-mini dress, teamed with Christian Louboutin heels and a matching clutch. Of course she didn’t leave empty handed as Taylor picked up best Female Artist. Well she doesn’t seem to go to awards lately without winning something!!! Teen beauty Demi Lovato went for a ruffle cascade blue mini from the Cruise collection, which showed off her assets well – particular her top half (who knew!!!). Teamed with that gorgeous necklace
Poker Face singer Lady Gaga has been named creative director – not of a fashion house – but of Polaroid. Yep the camera people. Random but true and when you think about it I actually think it works. Announced this week Gaga has been named creative director for a speciality line of Polaroid imaging products. Yep I am not sure what that means either but hey excited to see what she comes up with especially after reading this quote on the press release. “I am so proud to announce my new partnership with Polaroid as the creative director and inventor
