Miu Miu Front Row: Katy Perry Head-to-Toe In Prada

Who: Katy Perry

Where: At the Miu Miu autumn/winter 2012 catwalk show in Paris

Wearing: Head-to-toe Prada in a giada raso coat, worn over a flames-motif printed pink chiffon pleated dress, and paired with the Saffiano lux Pyramide bag with studs and patent leather flame sandals

Verdict: I love everything about Katy Perry’s look from the neck down, seriously her choice of quirky accessories is amazing – I am in love with that studded bag as well as the incredible flame heels. But what I am not loving is her hair, I get it so she is wearing blue so she has to pair her hair, but come on you seriously don’t!!!

I am glad that Katy has immersed herself in Paris Fashion Week and seems to be getting over her split from Russell Brand but I would also love to see a new hair-do.

Miu Miu had one of the most stylish front rows at Paris Fashion Week for me including Harry Potter’s Bonnie Wright, singer Florrie Arnold, and Mia Wasikowska, as well as Kate Mara, Corrine Bailey Rae, and Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery, but my favourite looks are these from Bonnie, Florrie and Mia all in Miu Miu looks.

Bonnie is stunning in this black cady sleeveless top and alluminio grey plissé lace skirt from the Miu Miu spring/summer 2012 collection, but what caught my eye on her look had to be the Miu Miu yellow silk jewel bag – pops nicely against the lace skirt.

Florrie, who I have to admit I don’t know that much about really impressed me in these Miu Miu pink daisy print cady pants, they look good with the white caplet and cotton shirt. But again her accessories floored me with gorgeous pink madras bag – HOT!!!

Last but not least is Miu Miu’s current face Mia Wasikowska in a reserved but chic look wearing Miu Miu autumn/winter 2012 in a bi-colour organzino dress with orchidea pink top and black cady armuré flared skirt. The only thing I would change from this demure look would have been the nude patent leather pumps, I just think a vibrant pink or clashing colour would have worked perfectly.

Pre-Fall 2011: Chanel Ode To Istanbul

Pic: Pre-fall 2011 invite

As always Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld showcased a luxurious pre-fall 2011 collection in Paris. With the help of an amazing 36 models, the Paris-Bryzance collection was shown at Métiers d’Art. Inspired by the Byzantine Empire, Karl’s collection was gorgeous and lavish with its tweeds interwoven with gold, the romantic feminine use of chiffon, lace and tulle that only Chanel can master, and then teamed with the satin, leather and velvets to give the line a rock and roll elegance. For me this is the best Chanel collection for a number of seasons.

I loved the exquisite stonework detail, the tight-fitted black tweed coats embroidered with gold thread, adorned bodices, jewelled buttons, tunics, and it worked amazingly well with a 60s vibe to the hair and styling – relaxed elegance and for Chanel – extremely wearable.

Video Loving: PFW SS11 – Louis Vuitton

Last season I absolutely loved the Louis Vuitton show, from the setting around the fountain to the busty supermodels and of course the ladylike collection. However, for the spring/summer 2011 catwalk show I felt a little underwhelmed. OK, I love the fact the brand keeps pushing the boundaries of technology and this time round we got to see the clothes in a 360-degree turn, which defiantly makes the audience at home feel like they were there. But this season, Marc Jacobs has left behind the voluptuous retro line for a more camp collection of sparkle, glitz and glam.

It was very exotic with animal prints, Asian detailing, disco 70s colours and strangely most of the bags were clutches – evening wear was definitely the goal for this collection. I am sure we will see a lot of the floor-skimming dresses on the red carpet.

PFW Front Row: Dita Von Teese Hits Paris – Part Deux

Where: Arriving to Naomi Campbell’s 25th anniversary of career held at Dolce & Gabbana store, Avenue Montaigne in Paris

Wearing: A satin and lace Dolce & Gabbana dress teamed with a rose hat and lace heels

Verdict: Gorgeous, striking and made for Dita – this dress is amazing. I am loving lace, it seems to be everywhere – but this dress looks vintage-yet-modern if that is at all possible. I also wonder whether Dita styles herself as I love what she has done here with the rose hat, lace heels and lady like bag. Divine!!

Where: At the John Galliano Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show at Opera Comique in Paris

Wearing: A dark tan 40s-style skirt suit teamed with a fascinator, black lace elbow-length gloves and t-bar heels

Verdict: I think this has to be my favourite looks from Dita this fashion week, I love the military detailing, the colour and the quirky vintage touches – and this outfit is amazingly finished off with her signature red lippy. Gorgeous!!

Where: At the Elie Saab Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show at Espace Ephemere Tuileries in Paris

Wearing: A fitted below-the-knee black Elie Saab dress from the AW10 collection

Verdict: I love black, but Dita has really a thing for black this fashion week, and each a little different but so completely in keeping with her amazing style. This is a one of my favourite looks because of the textured panels on the front and the cute heels and clutch. What a perfect ending to amazing week of outfits – those sunnies – chic!!

PFW Front Row: Rachel Bilson In Chanel and AllSaints

Who: Actress Rachel Bilson

Where: At the Chanel Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show at Grand Palais in Paris

Wearing: A multicoloured print Chanel shift dress layered with a black AllSaints Manu leather jacket, black strappy platforms finished off with a pop of colour with a small red Chanel bag

Verdict: I love the contrasting rock chic leather jacket with the cute Chanel shift. I don’t know why but it shouldn’t work but it does, I think it has to be the accessory’s – the red quilted bag and those heavy-duty platforms = amazing styling.

Buy Her Style: The Manu Jacket is £325 from AllSaints

PFW Front Row: Keira Knightley In Chanel

Who: Keira Knightley

Where: At the Chanel Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2011 show at Grand Palais in Paris

Wearing: A gold wool Chanel dress layered with a black knit Chanel blazer and finished with black Miu Miu heels and a classic black quilted Chanel bag

Verdict: Sporting a fresh new hair-do, Keira looks fresh in this gorgeous gold dress – but of course my Miu Miu addiction draws me to her shoes – I love them!! The dress is nice, classic sihouette and the detailing to the skirt make it modern. This outfit is killing me as I kind of want it all – starting with that classic quilted bag, a Chanel handbag is top of my wish list.
