Puffas: One of the key winter coat styles this season and one of the best to combat that chill in the air, trust me, while you may feel like a Michelin-man in it, you won’t be complaining of not being warm. Go for colour, oversized, and hood-free, and don’t forget puffier the better as it really will look more flattering.

A Pop Of Red: There was a lot of the fiery red shade on the autumn/winter 2017 catwalks from brands including Givenchy, Preen and Max Mara, everything from cherry red to wine and burgundy, and I love that there are so many great red coats on the high street to add some colour to your outerwear.

Check-mate: The biggest trend by far when it comes to outerwear has to be checks – from tartan, to dogstooth and gingham its everywhere, and I want them all – but I especially want that gorgeous blue checked Tommy Hilfiger Denim beauty.

Teddy-bear: If I had to give you one winter coat that every fashion blogger is obsessed with it has to be the teddy coat, they are just so cuddly – I may have fallen hard for the pink one from Warehouse.

Timeless: Not one for the trends but love a classic, well, here are 10 beauties that I have on my wishlist – from timeless trench coats to wool coats that will go with anything and still keep you warm to stunning camel coats, one of my favourite things to add to my outerwear each year.
