A tropical paradise deserves a great floral look, doesn’t it? Well, that’s my thinking, so every sunny holiday I take I hunt down a new floral beauty, and this one from H&M’s conscious collection was perfect, especially as I snagged it in the sale. I also needed the perfect dress to wear with these statement Ego Shoes, the rose gold heel is incredible and I still can’t believe they are less than £30 **Fyi, I’ve just double checked and they are £15,99 in the sale, snap them up quick**.
Deciding on which shoes to take on a holiday is my biggest stress, I always select way too many that now my husband double checks and is brutal with cutting my pile down. He’s always right, I’m an overpacker, I just can’t help it, I like to travel with my full wardrobe. So this time round I decided to ditch my classic black sandals that work with everything for these nude beauties, I just thought it would work better with the tropical sunshine, and I totally made the right decision.
What I love about these shoes, other than the fab architectural heels, has to be how comfortable they are, the block heel is just the right height and the ankle straps give the perfect support. I also adore the colour, the nude and rose gold works perfectly together and they really work well with this darker floral dress.
These Ego shoes really were inspired by latest Cambridge Satchel Company bag, my beautiful ‘Poppy’, a modern take on the classic Doctors bag, which is perfect for traveling and sightseeing as it can fit in my camera, money, sunblock, a snack, and even my mobile, essential beauty needs, can’t leave without my lip gloss, and still not feel too full. Plus it is so pretty that it totally works as a great evening bag as well without the shoulder strap. You guys know I love Cambridge Satchel, seriously how can you not, but this latest addition has to be one of my favourites, is it wrong that I’m considering it in every colour and size? I have the large version, but there is also a cute adorable tiny one, as well as a backpack version, both of which I totally think I need!!!
I shot quite a few outfits in Malaysia while I was on holiday, so keep tuned for a swimsuit lookbook, I just have to be brave enough to press publish, as well as a few of my favourite looks. I also have three amazing hotels to share with you that will definitely have you wanted to head to Malaysia on your next trip.
