My Stripy Boden Dress

Boden-Dress-Windsor-24

I have a lot of love for stripy tops, I probably have the same style top in about 10 different sized stripes and colours, and one of my favourite places to pick up good stripes is Boden, so when I saw this Blackberry Dress in green and white stripes I couldn’t resist it. The drapey fit, the gathering at the waist and the knee-grazing length really makes this the perfect casual summer dress and made for one comfortable look while exploring Windsor

I’m such a fan of relaxed fit dresses in the summer, who wants to be in a skin-tight look when it is hot, and this beauty from Boden with its soft cotton blended jersey was so lovely and easy to wear. Basically, this stripy dress works so well on its own, but I thought as I was sightseeing I wanted to go hands-free to take pictures so I paired it with my Saddle Belt Bag from Next, which seriously is the cutest bumbag I’ve ever worn. It would look great for a festival look, as well as worn with denim shorts.

For tourist days, I normally opt for trainers or Keds, but these Emu Australia Ibis leather sandals really are the perfect summer shoe, so comfortable, I literally walked miles in these, plus they are so cute, I love the crackle metallic detail. If you are heading away for a weekend in the sun and have limited space in your case, these work during the day and in the evening, I do love sandals that work well with so many different looks. I’ve worn these with a maxi black dress, ripped black jeans, as well as denim skirt.

It is always hard to choose a good look that you’re going to be comfortable in, not too hot, not too cold, and especially for me that isn’t just jeans and a t-shirt, my go-to casual look, but this Boden stripy dress is perfection. I’m going to confess now, this beauty is going to be worn a lot over the summer, well as long as the weather gets its act together!!!
