When I think Timberland boots, I think 90s hip-hop, men’s work boots, and generally guy boots, well it seems these magenta beauties that I’m styling here are just for the girls and aren’t they beautiful. I’m a lover of all things pink, I have vibrant pink coats, jumpers, handbags, and trainers, but these are my first pair of pink boots and I’m a little obsessed, these Timberland boots are seriously cool. To be honest, the cool factor is something that’s always put me off a little from these chunky beauties, I do worry that I’m probably not cooler enough to pull these off, it’s probably why I opted for a Shoreditch background, to make these pictures look a little more hip.
For me, I think that Timberland boots work best when worn with denim, the two just work really well together, and I think a skinny style or a very slouchy pair of boyfriend jeans, you either want to balance the proportions of the chunky style or exaggerate it even further. I’ve decided to make my legs look a little skinnier by working the dark blue skinny jeans, then pairing with a floaty top, did you see the fun sleeves, as well as a slightly oversized bomber jacket, I basically just wanted to slim down my thighs and highlight these great boots. Did I succeed?
These boots are about having fun, being comfortable, as well as making a statement, I’m in love with the colour, and I have to say the Iconic 6-inch Timberland boots really are great for stomping around London on appointments and prancing about in front of colourful street art in east London.
