I shot this cold shoulder dress a few backs, you know when the weather was a little more typical to April than we are currently experiencing, I still can’t believe that I got caught in a hailstone shower over the weekend, seriously where has the sun gone? Well, to spur it back on, and to give you guys some inspiration for when the weather gets warmer, here is that Asos cold shoulder dress that I’ve been gushing about a lot, seriously, what’s not to love when a dress has a pom-pom trim.
I first spied this dress when I researching Friday Favourites, I do love a cute trend and it seems that the high street has gone crazy for a cold shoulder design, and this dress, with its pom-poms, longer sleeves, and knitted design just won me over, plus I needed a great excuse to wear these gorgeous Boden flats again and share my first Radley London bag that I picked up from the House of Fraser sale.
I have a thing for tiny, cross-body bags and this little beauty is the most gorgeous coral colour – the perfect addition to a summer wardrobe. You can also wear this bag as a belt, perfect for festival season, and I just love that it has just enough room for all my essentials. Plus did I mention that this beauty was half price on House of Fraser? It also comes in tons of different colours – so if you love the style check out the scrolling shopping panel below.
I’ve been asking myself why I love the cold shoulder trend and I think it’s because it adds a touch of sexiness to a look without being too revealing. I’m all for a plunging neckline or a shortened hemline but isn’t it nice to have a pretty, fun trend for a once hitting the shops. I just really can’t wait for the sun to shine for longer than a day to wear these styles.
