I’ve been trying not to just wear jeans this winter, my attempt to continue to push my own personal style, and I’ve become a little obsessed with wide-leg trousers, especially worn with trainers, and this has to be one of my favourite style posts this year and that’s mainly to do with this incredible lips sweater, which is such a designer dupe of Marcus Lupfer but only cost me £14.99 from H&M.
When it comes to weekend style I like it to be a little fun and easy to throw on and this bright red lips sweater is perfect. I’m also loving how it works with my new favourite bobble hat that I picked up the Gap sale for £4, a super bargain, I do adore a giant pompom. Plus is it just me who loves to cheer up winter by wearing bright red? Finishing off my look is my black and white bomber that I have had for at least 10 years, I love that it still fits and that bomber jackets are back on trend as this is such a cosy look for the weekend.
I took this on a bitterly cold winters day in Cambridge, it was so nice to wander along the river, I couldn’t believe people were punting in this cold, and then wandering through Gonville & Caius College. It is one of my favourite colleges in Cambridge because each season it looks a little different, with winter being the most haunted and beautiful I think. It kind of reminds me of Harry Potter with the tree taking over the building. So stunning and serene and beautiful if you walk around hearing the choir practice. If you are coming to Cambridge it is a must see, plus it is always free to walk around at the weekend.
