The beauty of jetting off for some winter sun recently meant I could shoot some outfits that I just didn’t get around to over the summer, probably because we didn’t really have a great summer, yeah it started off well, but August was a little of a wash-out, so I’m so pleased that when I was in Marrakech I got to wear this shoulder-baring, Asos maxi dress. There is something about this Grecian beauty that I just adore and I think it is the balance of sweetness and sexy. The sweet nude pink colour is perfectly balanced out with the sexiness of the thigh-high split, which I adore as it adds a touch of red carpet glamour to the look, and I have to admit it was fun doing an Angelina Jolie inspired pose with my left leg!!!
I’ve already shared with you how beautiful the Les Deux Tours Hotel was if you missed it and are looking for a hotel in Marrakech, check it out, it was simply the best place to recharge my batteries and have a romantic break with my husband. This private plunge pool was one of those romantic spots that were hidden away in the resort, it was fun tracking down new places to soak up the sun and enjoy a good book. It also made choosing locations for my style post super fun as well, I just loved this private pool and villa backdrop with this Grecian beauty of a dress, it adds to the romance and glamour of the maxi, plus the light was so beautiful that I really think it enhanced the dress.
Normally I would shy away from wearing should a light shade, I adore nude pink, but generally on other people, however, add a touch of sun and I just love to wear this Grecian maxi. I actually seem to only wear this on holidays, the last being on our honeymoon in Antigua, so it really brought back some great memories, especially as we were in Marrakech celebrating our first wedding anniversary.
Even though I’m not normal a fan of wearing nude pink, I think if this dress was a darker shade it would have lost its impact, I like its ethereal look in these pictures, and for a dress I bought in the sale, I think I paid less than £25 a couple of years ago I think this Grecian beauty is still going strong.
