LFW Style: Winter Floral Suit

October 5, 2015

Stepping out of my comfort zone has been something I’ve been trying to do all year and I’ve worn a monochrome co-ordinated look before, actually that was at fashion week as well, but this print is so vibrant I was actually nervous to wear it. I actually think I’m happy to be a fashion blogger that blends into the background. But I have to admit it was fun getting a little attention, I can kind of see why some people exaggerate their style during fashion week, there is pleasure in people wanting to take your picture. I just think that some people have let that go to their head a little.

Having my picture taken is one of the most uncomfortable things about blogging, thankfully while making my bold statement the lovely and uber talented photographer Ashanti from Adorngirl offered to do a mini street-style shoot with me. There is something about Ashanti that makes posing more fun than uncomfortable, we actually had such a giggle shooting this look that I’m so pleased with how it came out.

This lightweight winter floral suit looks amazing against the tropical backdrop, yep this is central London, but I think against the brick wall it really stands out. Another highlight of this look for me also has to be this amazing tote bag from the Cambridge Satchel Company. You guys know that I’m obsessed with this leather accessories brand, the quality is always amazing, and I love how over the past few years that the brand has branched out and really created some gorgeous bags, and this beauty is perfect for carry around my fashion week essentials.

I think for fashion week the winter floral suit looks great paired together but for a normal day look I think the trousers would look great with a black polo or a pussy-bow blouse, and that blazer would smarten up any pair of jeans for a night out.

Do you like my winter floral statement?

You really look like you had such fun. Obviously such a fun outfit promotes happiness. Well done for taking a leap it really has paid off.
